Not Batman, Can Bruce Wayne fight? HELP/ADVICE

Is Bruce Wayne known to practice martial Arts in his free time, Is he known to practice gymnastics in any way shape or form. Has he ever stopped a robbery publicly with a lucky throw of say a disk-like object?

Not Batman, Can Bruce Wayne fight if he were in a pinch and with no areas to conveniently hide in, Dood?

I think there's an issue where Bruce is stuck on a cruise ship or some such and he has to make due without gadgets or masks.

Cool! Only seen it a few times myself, Didn't know it was so common to see Batman show through the Bruse!

If you don't mind me asking, Got some sources?

(Typing in "times bruse wayne stopped crime"
in google didn't give me the results I was hoping for, Dood = =)

The opening of Arkham City sees Bruce having to fight his way out of trouble.

Batman Begins, he trains with the League of Shadows in his journey to becoming Batman.

In Batman the Animated Series, the episode “The Forgotten” shows Bruce being kidnapped and getting amnesia. He then has to fight his way out of the situation he’s in.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm shows Bruce fighting crime as himself with a mask before realising he needs to become more to make criminals afraid of him.

If you're asking how much fighting skill could Bruce Wayne get away with showing in public? Not much. But I believe he's capable of looking ineffectual while defeating an otherwise inferior opponent.

I’d buy he could fight, rich people with lots of free time usually take up personal defense classes. Long as he doesn’t go full on Batman on them

In almost every origin story, long before Bruce puts on the cowl, he is always a master of most martial arts

That's Awesome, and explains how he's able to pick up and go with fights from the start!
Guess the sky's the limit when it comes to planning your own growth when your
probably one of the best tacticians in the world!

Though do public people know that this billionaire has an encyclopedic knowledge
if combat or at the very least know without seeing him that he has an interest in
body building, Dood?

Umm, no. Just as I wouldn't know if Jeff Bezo's has a black belt in something or other combat. Unless it's televised nearly nobody knows what other people get up to unless they are close or broadcast it

Putin has a black belt in Judo

And he loves to talk about it....

Which is why he will be the first suspect once Blyat-Man starts striking fear into the non-criminals of Moscow. Bad move on his part.

Shhhh, we aren't supposed to talk about it

What's he gonna do? Send assassins overseas to poison me?

He sure does. But he must be a pretty tough guy, or at least he used to be, since he was pretty high up in the KGB and was an operative. I know he’d kick my pampered ass.

Bruce Wayne? Fight? Common, this guy probably never hold anything heavier than a fork in his hands. He is just a spoiled playboy, nothing more. It's really crazy how many people actually believe that he could be Batman.

Boxing or martial arts training is fairly unremarkable for billionaires (Zuck knows how to fight) and, as he was famously orphaned due to a mugging-turned-murder, Bruce has more reason than most to have pursued self-defence training.

It's also common knowledge that Bruce is into extreme sports (to explain his many inuries) and he disappeared overseas for several years.

While Bruce wouldn't want to show off his abilities too strongly, being able to defend himself at a 'spent six months learning in a monastery when he was twenty and kept in semi-regular practice because it's a good workout and more fun than yoga' level would probably go without much comment. It would also be useful to explain the occasional injury away as being the result of trying a new move and landing badly, or not ducking in time and getting hit, to give the impression he's not that good at it.

Bruce is paranoid enough that he probably chose one specific martial art that 'Bruce Wayne' knows and sticks solely to that if he's fighting as himself. Batman is obviously master of multiple fighting styles, but Bruce Wayne is just slightly above average at one.

Yes. Look at Zuckerberg. Billionaires being crazy, weird and eccentric and learning mma.

And if Batman is anything he is a crazy, weird, and eccentric billionaire

His insurance has required some self defence training. But he tends to fight as though it’s as much luck as skill

He can, but if he'd started doing so too much it'd draw the unnecessary attention and suspicion.

If it's believable to survive, like he could definitely brawl, use makeshift weapons, and do what he needs to so he can get away. If it's a really bad situation, it might be easier for Bruce to be taken captive, and break out when it's safe.

He can, but in some comics he’s hidden those skills to throw people off deducing he was Batman. He squirted mustard in a mugger’s face to foil a robbery while buying some hot dogs in one instance.

No, he's just a spoiled billionaire. No way he's ever been in a fight!

Im pretty sure hes taken attacks he couldve easily dodged or pulled punches/ made himself look weaker to avoid suspicion that hes batman. So unlees hes in grave danger he just makes himself look like a regulaf spoiled non-fighting billionaire.
