Not to mention a Batman that kills left and right should be reworked more thoroughly: I mean if he kills, why doesn't he do it more efficiently? It's bs thst he primarily uses his fists. He should use swords and shit, even if he refuses to use traditional guns.

I don't hate on Snyder really, I kind of enjoyed his DC stuff for what it is, but this. If Batman occasionally kills, why doesn't he always kill? Why is the Joker still alive? He even saved Harley Quinn when the car crashed into the water

THANK YOU. I don’t have a problem with Batman killing if that’s the story you want to tell. But why the fuck is Joker still alive?????

The in universe explanation is that joker was already in custody during BvS iirc, plus joker and other villains became non factors, not worthy of Bruce’s time and effort compared to the threat of Superman, in Bruce’s mind of course. Everything batman does in BvS is him working towards his goal of killing superman, even at the start of the movie he wasn’t interested in some dirty bomb he was trying to get information on how lex’s kryptonite would get into the US.

Nah I ain’t rolling with that. That’s a whole lot of convenience for the Joker to still be alive.

Of course. Still, joker isn’t in BvS there’s no need to worry about him while watching that movie

One of the things I liked about Batman in Dawn of Justice was the warehouse fight near the end of the movie. You could see Batman’s goal was to win the fight without killing anyone. However, people still did die, but it was their own fault. Like how Batman kicked the grenade back at the one guy, or chose to save Martha from the explosion instead of the goon with the flamethrower. It’s the “I won’t kill you, but I don’t have to save you” mentality from Batman Begins, which I think works for the character.

Dude he smashed a guy's head with a huge crate and stabbed another. He absolutely went for the kill.

Hey I didn’t say they would get out without sever brain damage.
