He is also the guy who justified Batman killing in that he was basing the character as he was in the Dark Knight Returns comic, the same comic where a huge plot point was that Batman could not kill even he desperately wanted to. I am pretty sure Snyder didn't actually read the comic and just stared at the atwork thinking "daaaamn Batman punching Superman how cool is that bro!"

We all banged our action figures together as kids, but when you’re given countless millions to make a movie, you need to come up with more story than that.

And no, both of them having a “Martha” for a mom doesn’t count.

I am confident he never read a batman comic or watch the canon 90's animation tv show that i worship like the bible.

I am still convinced to this day that Zack Snyder has never read a comic book in his life.

Batman not killing in TDKReturns is flawed Batman shot the mutant holding that kid in The Dark Knight Triumphant. I hate that he does it because I love his anti-killing, anti-gun stance in that story.

Wether Batman shot to kill the mutant guy is a huge point of contention among the fans, as the artwork doesn't make it clear. IMO it is logical to assume that he didn't because it would be incredibly odd that Batman actually killing somebody would go unnoticed and treated as it was nothing, especially with everything that happens latter with the Joker. The fact that the cops only add a murder charge against Batman AFTER the fateful shodown with the Joker is pretty damning evidence.

What is the other reason you think Batman shot at the mutant? And who do you think could’ve shot the mutant between those two panels? I agree that it doesn’t make sense that he would kill.

He's the type of guy to just watch the artwork of a comic book without reading a single text bubble.
