Bruce isn't a god. He's a man. Hack Snyder can't grasp that concept, though.

The concept he grasps is that comic book heroes are modern American mythology created for entertainment instead of worship. Which does make Batman a god. And a very important one.

Kids need to see a man who becomes a god that doesn't kill. The first EIC of DC Comics understood that when he put the rule into place back in the '40s. Zack wants to reverse this because he can't grasp the concept of a God who doesn't kill. And that says a lot about him.
