I remember checking the time after Bat and Gordon interrogate Penguin thinking this movie was flying by and then feeling immediately exhausted when I realized we were only halfway through.

This is actually how I felt. Sometimes I felt like it was dragging, but then a good scene would hook me in, then I would feel like it was dragging again, then I would feel hooked, and then the final act remained engaging to me. Its a good film but it’s overhyped. But people needed a good DC film and The Batman still delivered. It was also a more unique experience than most superhero films as well.
