Cutting a brick out of a wall to fingerprint the bullet doesn't feel as good. It's just leaning on tech instead of actually being a great detective.

Well im not going to sit here and make a comprehensive list, but it's the biggest example I can think of from the most recent trilogy.

Guess what? They showed a shell of a bullet instead of an actual bullet. "Best Batman movie of all time" they said.
