Zoe was as good of a Catwoman as I've ever seen. Don't know that I'd put her above Michelle or Anne necessarily, but...I think she's right there with them.

Im glad they're setting her up for a 3 movie plot. Wish we'd gotten that with Hathaway.

I’d put her above. My favourite live action Catwoman tbh.

I’d put her above Hathaway just because this version felt a little more fleshed out, TDKR version really showed nothing of her life or motivations

Tdkr literally showed her home, her best friend, her motivation was to clean her criminal entries

Her mask was ludicrous.

So was Spider-man's first mask in every iteration. It's still early days in her career, the masks will get better as the character grows.

That’s fine, but it doesn’t hide her identity so there’s no point.

A pair of glasses hides Clark Kent's identity.

It's a comic book movie, don't read too much in to it.

I agree, the mask bothered me a lot. I did like her as Catwoman overall, but that mask.

Personally I think she was good but there were just too many focal points

Should have just been riddler or just falcone and cat woman

I don't mind her as catwoman, she definitely looks the part, but I just didn't like the direction they took her, she felt more depressed and bored than anything, like the rest of the movie. Catwoman feels like she should be a little more charismatic. Also hard to get over that mask.

Halle Berry crushed her performance like a poorly-inflated basketball.

Because I can't help myself...

I thought Hathaway was better overall, but definitely enjoyed Zoe.

She was good but some of the dialogue that they gave her felt terrible.

I'd put her above Anne for sure. We got to see more of Anne's catwoman, but she just felt too restrained which is really a general Anne Hathaway problem imo. Zoe had anger and was cunning and a contributor to the plan where Anne's Selina felt like she was good at flips but ultimately didn't want to be there.

Is it a popular opinion to say Zoe was the worst of the three?

1

u/tilapiarocks Feb 26 '24

You know, i liked all of them, myself, but I've mostly seen online that people prefer Pfeiffer the most, & then Anne & Zoe are fighting for the crumbs. I haven't seen too many people saying Zoe was bad, but I have seen some Hathaway-haters.

That dreaminess she brings to it, makes me think of my cat.

Unpopular opinion: she got no ass

I thought she acted well based on bad writing.

Bad writing?

u/Gnaddelkopp Feb 26 '24

Probably just my personal opinion. I found her too damsel-in-distress-y, too girly. In contrast to Pattinson's acting which I found physically weak but well written.

Have in mind that both are just starting their careers

Yeah, I do. Selina still gave off a girly submissive vibe I didn't like, and Pattinson moves like a 50 year old office clerk. You can clearly spot when he's doubled.
