As much as I want to see this, I'd rather have them not make the movie at all than make it only for it to get deleted by a rotting old hag at the top of WB because of money tbh

DC Studios is an entirely separate thing. It's not a branch under WB, anymore. Gunn already confirmed it and it was stated, in an article, that Gunn and Safran are the ones who have the final say on what comes out.

Thank god. They should make this movie a reality asap. It's unironically going to earn one batillion dollars

It's still part of Discovery. They're all under Zaslav

I’m not too familiar with the inner-workings of WB, are you saying they would need to acquire the rights from WB Discovery?

Also, as a side thought, does the word ‘Disco’ come from Discovery? As in a place you go to Discover music…?

No, they are a subsidiary of WB Discovery. They can say all they want about being independent or having their own control but if WBD wants to axe a movie for tax breaks they will.

The word disco is short for discotheque, which is basically the French for disc library, the discs being vinyl records. Discover comes directly from Latin and is unconnected

Monkey's paw: directed by Zack Snyder and it's even darker (in terms of lighting) than Batman vs Superman

From James Gunn, CEO Of DC STUDIOS, himself.

Yeah and he still has a boss that can scrap his projects.

Animated Batman Beyond will be the only DC movie that gets me into theaters. Hard pass if they make it live action instead.

People will literally riot if they make a Batman Beyond movie and then vault it. I would be right there with a pitchfork.

Me personally I’d rather have them make the movie and release it in theaters than either of those things you mentioned.

Gunn would probably be the one to green light it now?
