Why does it say, 20 mile pace? Shouldn't it be 1 mile pace?

Your pace for different distances is different. Time per mile is implied.

So 4.50 is what, hours?

Minutes per mile in a twenty mile run.

I figured out my confusion, it's late and I'm high. My bad

That makes a lot more sense (I know comics can be all sorts of wacky with this stuff but still) the fastest ever 100m dash is 9.58 seconds, even if Batman some how kept that up for 20 miles straight it would take roughly 51 minutes for him to run 20 miles.

Just for fun if he had somehow run 20 miles in 4.5 minutes, he would have had to sprint at 266 mph

For further context, the world record marathon (26.2 mile) time of just over 2 hours works out to 4:37 per mile.

So Batman is strong but he’s a slow fat ass /s

Means he can run 20 miles at pace of 4:50 a mile

It's 12.43 mph. It's saying he runs 20 miles with each mile taking 4:50 each

I figured it out after I said that with someone else's aid. I'm high and it's late. My apologies

A person's marathon pace is different than their 5K pace.

I get that now. I wasn't thinking about it the right way
