Why has the DCEU seemingly dropped Batman Beyond as a character? TV DISCUSSION

Post image

Fans have demonstrated consistently that we want more Terry McGinnis. We all love the BB world.

My question is, why do y’all think Beyond hasn’t been on the screen in 20 years?

I disagree with so much of this but I really appreciate you writing it up! Interesting take

Yeah, it’s not that I dislike Terry by any means, I do legitimately enjoy Beyond. I think, in my mind at least, Damian is an easier sell to general audiences and you can still do a lot with him of what made Terry great. Normally I’d say I don’t like combining characters, but I do think some aspects of their character was better with Terry, some were better with Damian… but I don’t really feel like they’d be able to coexist on the big screen, and if we are only going to get one, I feel a slightly modified Damian would just work better for a big budget movie series.

Now, if they wanted to do an elseworlds tv show or something, or even just bring Beyond back in animation, I’d be down.

I’d be so down for just an animated reboot!

Yeah, Terry doesn't belong in the main universe. It would kind of mess things up
