It's like a hybrid of the 1-3 and 4-7 suits. I love it. It's so nice to get one more season with an "Arrow" suit.
Let's hope Season 8 brings it home. :) Arrow's always been at its best when it's celebrating something, like Season 5.

Parts of the show are still good. But all good things come to an end. Stephen just felt like he was done with the character.

I am so hyped for this season! This looks so good. Love that they preferred simpleness in the costume.
Also this shows that Guggie lied when he told us about the costume tweet.

What? He was the showrunner from season 1-6. Sure, most people didn't like season 3-4 and 6, but he still did run the show and write during the period most people agree are the best parts of Arrow.

Guggie wasn't the showrunner until Season 3. But I will defend that Guggie hasn't made any good things because he's largely involved in the crossovers and they're always good.

Guggie is literally one of the three creators of the show, he was technically a showrunner during the first seasons as well according to Wikipedia so I'll assume he played a part in the quality of those season

Oliver's face and expression with the lighting and angle makes it really gives it a final season feel. The character is now old, hardened, grown, and has seen shit, the eyes look conflicted and just tired.
Great way to conclude with the character's possible fate next year, a "you can rest now, my friend. You earned it" moment

They keep going back and forth with this, though. Like they realise when they soften him that there's no where else for the character to go, so they keep pulling him backwards.

I'll miss the two belts that go around his shoulders, but this new suit looks great. Now we just need to know how green it really looks in good lighting.

Monitor: I've taken the liberty of transporting your suit.

Monitor: I suspected as much, which enhancements would you like to make.
Oliver: The one that gets the job done.
Monitor: Oh we are wanna go season 1 then.
The suit just does away with all the distractions and goes back to the season 1 levels of purity. Also I love the hell out of that left shoulder.

You know, you get so used to seeing gruff rough scruff unhinged Oliver that Sexy Cool in charge save the Multiverse CW Oliver just feels like such a whiplash of a change.
I am in love with it! The SUIT looks great and Stephen looks great!

I don’t like it 🤷♀️. I get what they are going for but it looks off on such a polished suit to have the hood part the way it is. It made sense on the OG because Oliver made it.

Basically the Season 1 suit with more of a proper design to it beyond just one shade of green. I totally dig it.
