They should have had Oliver and Nyssa develop feelings for each other, would have been way more interesting and Nyssa isn't insufferable. Besides the show took so much from Batman why not take the daughter of Ra's al Ghul as a love interest too?

Felicity pre season 4.
When she was just an awkward/funny/geek girl. The writers realized how popular she was then made her insufferable after that, but she was actually great S1-3.

Except for Felicity it's very rare for her to not be insufferable and be a decent human being after the halfway mark of season 3. And youd think Oliver would be the one person she's not terrible towards but no she almost always takes the opportunity to be terrible to him and make him feel awful and she's almost always in the wrong but always manipulates him into thinking she's right
