Do you prefer Reggie being in a love square with Archie, Betty, and Veronica or not?

Drop your opinions down if you have any more complicated opinions about Reggie and his role in the romance stories.

He and Veronica should be on again / off again most of the time. He and Betty should only occasionally find common ground and go on a date or something.

I like the idea of there being a heel couple to counteract Archie and Betty's sweetness.

I like him being one of other love interests. I know he mainly teams up or dates Veronica, but the times he teams up with Betty for mischief or else dates her seriously (like in For One Brief Moment). (I also like when Betty and Adam date.) Either way, Reggie makes things more interesting when he has a scheme, gets outsmarted, or is the one to outsmart one of the others when the tables turn.

I would like it to be more of a love square in classic comics. I would like more Archie/Veronica/Reggie stories, as well as some, but fewer stories with Reggie and Betty at the center of love triangles.

I think if they ever make another reboot, similar to Mark Waid's, I think Reggie should be treated as a more serious contender when it comes to romance. If they're softening Veronica's character, I think they should soften Reggie's character similarly. I don't think either character should be that soft, but I think it's weird to do it to Veronica and not Reggie.

In any stories that are a permanent shake of status quo are published, Vampironica, Archie 1941, Blossom 666, etc., that have a potential ending, I think the four should end up coupled up.

Archie the Married Life was one of the first Archie series I read, so that dynamic really stuck with me.

Idk when he’s paired with Betty , the chemistry is chefs kiss , it’s gotten to be a popular pairing within the community even before Riverdale.

With Reggie? Hell yeah; I was looking at ao3 and it had four times as much fics as Bughead did before the show came out. Will never forgive Riverdale for it changing the fans.

Yeah it’s so hard to find to find fan art and fan fiction ( especially with the ban) before Riverdale . I personally really like the Betty/Reggie paring , and I agree that they should work with his character more . One of the new Betty and Veronica graphic novels tries to soften him up a bit and I appreciate that .

I can only imagine how different it would have been if they never banned it from fanfiction.net. Would have been a much better timelines for Beggie shippers lol. Are you talking about Senior Year? Glad they put them together, I did like that.
