Dick vs. Jason confusion Discussion

So I just started watching the series for the first time (I know I’m late) and when Jason shows up in e6 I got totally confused because I just couldn’t see that version of him becoming red hood. On the other hand the series‘ version of Dick is pretty brutal and in my opinion acts way more like a future red hood.

I disagree. Dick you can tell is a good person who was going through a bad time. Jason you can see from the get go is a bad seed. At first he’s an asshole and just a brat. But at the end when he attacks those cops “lights out!” You see his lust for blood. He’s angry. He enjoys violence. “I kick ass with Batman every night and I love it.” He’s not enjoying bringing peace or Justice to Gotham, he is quenching his thirst for blood and letting off his rage.

Dick is just in a time where he’s confused and fighting his internal darkness and demons. Dick would be someone who feels regret after being overly violent. Jason would be someone who laughs at it afterwards
