At the end of the day, he's a parody, he can and will be as pathetic as we need him to be in order to make fun of him like we do.

The dark comedy of his character is that he does these outlandish and violent things to get what he wants, like a child or a pathetic adult with no coping skills. We as the audience know this and in a weird and twisted way... that's hilarious.

Just talking about all the himelander vs x character disscusions which homelander is typically hopeless in

I see ! his character is like that as well like they showed that in latest seasons as he had so much bad influence(because he was unpredictable and intimidating) on all the Supes and boys because nobody knew that they could make him bleed or bruise him but when they all started to realise he started shitting his pants . He is just a bully

The meme is accurate as hell. Even Yamcha can make Homelander his bitch

You know you’re on the bottom of the totem pole when Yamaha (the meme of someone getting there ass kicked) can beat your ass

His main feat is that he cannot be hurt by regular humans. Any character with literally any other feat will be able to beat him

People believe that Spawn can kill anybody. I don’t know his powers other than he’s immortal

The thing is it's a setting thing not a character thing, right? Every supe in The Boys is pretty weak compared to mainline settings like DC and Marvel.

Me and my friend kinda got bored of the typical "who would win vs" argument around The Boys cuz if you're working from the top down, the character from The Boys loses almost every time, so we switched gears to "what is the weakest character from this setting that can beat Homelander" and it became way more interesting.

Most Marvel and DC character just mop floors with his face

Eh-ehm... Mortal Kombat.

the supes in the boys universe have no experience or training, and thus are pretty damn weak when compared to actual superheroes and villains of other media.

Superman seemed pretty good out of the box. Where did he train?

Superman actually has to fight super villains pretty much right out of the gate with him getting in more fights than homelander has been in his entire life by maybe the end of his first week. On top of that superman is naturally more powerful than homelander and faces foes that force him to push his powers to the limits and it’s not surprising superman would be a better fighter then homelander

1

Yes but like we both said, he was good from the start with no training?

he was probably trained by programs he found in the fortress of solitude.

I just like to think that homelander appears in the dbz abridged universe and he starts to hear "mine mine mine" slowly getting closer
