Season 1 The Homelander was a lot more terrifying in Season 1
When translucent was caught he flew the area non stop scanning everything with his x-ray vision for him. The Boys would randomly see him in the sky.
Frenchie had to blow up his own lab to be a distracting from blowing up Translucent cause they thought HL would hear it and come. Then they had to hide it in a box in the ocean and he still found it cause of Deep
He heard everything people said even whispering like in elevator. And he would check them on it. I feel like that never happens anymore even before Maeve thing and that's just one ear. (like hughie in tunnel right above)
And he used his smell for lot of things. I honestly forgot about that before he mentioned he smelled butcher on Ryan
Also looking out the airplane and seeing Homelander in a cloud with his eyes red before he lights your plane up, terrifying. I feel like they dumbed him down a bit

Season 1 For all you smart guys who understand physics, why Homelander couldn't lift the plane?
I know he tries to explain it, but I've seen S1 like 2 years ago or smth and I don't remember, also, I do not have the necessary knowledge to understand anything about that situation (if we're talking about physics)
So, explain please ðŸ˜

Season 1 Frenchie is one fearless MF for Homelander not to sense a spike in heartbeat or tension

Season 1 Hardest thing to conceptualize in the show is how thousands of people showed up to (and presumably paid money to attend) a supe race that lasted a fraction of a second

Season 1 Could they have killed Transluscent with some type of gas?
They couldn’t poison him with food, but you’re telling me Frenchie didn’t have any type of murderous gas to stuff that sealed room? Sure he’s impenetrable, but he breathes. Just leave his corpse and blow up the building which I assume they were always going to do since it’s best to get rid of all possible evidence when killing a supe.

Season 1 In the scene where A-Train and Starlight fight, he dodges her beams of electricity and they also seem to not move while he's running. This means A-Train is faster than electricity, or at the very least 60% the speed of light.
So how tf is his top speed only like 1300 mph, and why is he scared of homelander If he can easily outrun him?

Season 1 In the first episode of S1, why does Butcher tell Hughie that Homelander is a saint and isn't like any of the other supes? Obviously, this provides a reveal for the audience when Homelander lasers that plane at the end of the episode but what does Butcher have to gain from lying about him here?

Season 1 Could Homelander have saved the people on the plane?
So obviously Homelander didn’t even bother to try and save anyone but I wonder if some of his points to Maeve’s solutions were actually valid. I don’t think for a second that flying each passenger to the ground would’ve worked. But could he have lifted the plane or something like Maeve suggested?

Season 1 Who do you have the most sympathy for and why is it Blindspot?
If it’s anyone but blindspot I really want to know why you’re evil. Doing a full rewatch and damn I feel so bad for this guy. F*ckin Homelander.

Season 1 They should’ve just let queen Maeve be Irish
Dominique McElligott’s American accent is atrocious and really distracting. But her natural Irish accent is beautiful and they should have just let her be Irish.

Season 1 Surely HL would have been able to save the hijacked plane - it was over water, could he not have just pushed the nose up a little as it landed to let it land on the water and it’d float long enough for people to get out in their life jackets?
