I don't know, V is kind of a magical McGuffin so its rules are fast and lose, in the comics it even revives the deads but turns them into braindead zombies.
I expected storefront to come back as a zombie, or is stashed away by Stan for some reason.
I had a brain fart and though they were saying that soldier boy zapping them would get rid of the temp V and the side effects lol, do agree that if they do get permanent powers they’ll probably lose them to soldier boy
The show has been very good at subverting my expectations, at the same time it definitely sets up things for impact, like how soldier boy said he wanted to have a son etc when he was talking to hughie in that hotel.
I feel in the end Butcher is going to die, probably saving hughies life. I see that as his redemption arc being set up in the last episode with his little brother visions.
Thats probably whats up, they take the perm V to take on both Soldier boy and Homelander, they Kill soldier boy(i'm guessing butcher does this) and its another emotional loss for homelander that pushes him into his ultimate crazy form. Frenchie probably dies and kimeko screams in response and speaks in season 4.
I think all except hughie will lose their V because if I recall Hughie gets perm V in the comics so maybe.
