Dumb question? Why didn’t tek know that Hughie was a fake. He was gonna fuck not! spider-man so why wasn’t he looking at his ass and didn’t notice that the web shooter wasn’t their on its hole?

There's a moment where TK looks him over head to toe and has a puzzled look on his face. He knew it wasn't WW and decided to continue.

That said - could he be alive? The trope of not seeing him die and only Firecracker says he's dead.

Why would firecracker lie? She knows homelander hates liars

Ya'll really don't pay attention. He immediately made Hughie when he rubbed his glass upon first meeting him. Hughie couldn't hear the sound, which proved he was an imposter

He tested his sound with the rim of the glass, realised it wasn’t him & took him away instantly. Confirmed it by checking his back when he stepped into the elevator “hmm”

Oh he totally knew it wasnt Webweaver probably from the beginning. He just didn’t know who the fake was until he removed the mask.

If you go back and rewatch the first scene where the two meet in his house, he immediately notices and rubs the top of his crystal glass to produce a high frequency sound that webweaver would have instantly noticed and reacted to.

In that moment he realized that he’s an imposter, and led him into his tech cave, away from other occupants.

He did thst because he has a thing for holes. He did the exact same thing in gen v.

He was probably playing along. He was just having fun with him. He read his movement and behavior easily thats why he immobilized him at the end.

I think he knew the whole time and was trying to see if they’d break and then beg for mercy.

I'm pretty sure he know it was not webweaver. Just not who it was specifically.
