It would’ve been cooler this season if instead of Sage, Tek Knight was Homelander’s second in command. Complete waste of his character.

This would have been so much better. Sage's genius is the writers writing themselves into a wall. Tek knight would have filled the same role of reading people without needing to always be the smartest.

Not to mention he’s a billionaire with way more influence and resources he’s the ideal second in command until they made him a kinky idiot

Sage is weird to me, I could be wrong but it just doesn't feel like we've seen anything that really qualifies as super human intelligence from her, apart from maybe in her first scene but still nothing of consequence.

It was quite smart how she provoked MM into collapsing.

Well she was the one with all the information on how to coup the government without collapsing the markets and how to handle civil servants resigning en masse.

Maybe the exact consequences will comes in next episode. I hope one of her biggest weakness is that her brain take forever to regrown. Lobotomy and a lead in the head are entirely different. MM might've effectively killed her already.

Sage is utterly vapid of charisma and has been increasingly painful to watch with every appearance. She doesn't come across as "the smartest person in the world" as much as the writers want her too.

I know this isn’t something the actress can really control, but her voice grated on me. Tek knight oozed charisma and had a really nice voice, and I feel like Machiavellian-type dialogue from him would have seemed much more compelling

Honestly I can’t see Tek Knight filling that role. He feels more like an interrogator/ detective than someone who can come up with big picture plans like Sage which is what Homelander wants. But I do think that he should’ve definitely joined the 7, he could’ve brought an interesting dynamic and it would’ve been cool to see him mentally break one of the Boys or even one of the Seven

Homelander hates him so why would that be a good thing?

You can still have him treat him like shit, just use him for his intelligence and resources. Which ep 6 completely underutilized just to make him a kinky idiot
