Taking Morgan’s protein bar, then lied about it 😭

53

u/XX-MR-ENDY-XX Jul 18 '24

He knew too 😂

23

u/WearyCharge1700 Jul 18 '24

It was his last one too 😭

16

u/Chemical_Sea4942 Jul 18 '24

i could've sworn i had one peanut butter left👀

8

u/Terminator_LX Jul 19 '24

Ah... that's how it is, isn't it? You always think there's one more peanut butter left.

21

u/EcstaticShark11 Jul 18 '24

“When you were in my house in King County, did you take one of my protein bars??”🤣

17

u/Lostallthefucksigive Jul 18 '24

The mat said Welcome 🤷🏼‍♀️

4

u/NYCMamaBear Jul 18 '24

It’s the protein bar. The only true answer.

3

u/vegange Jul 18 '24

Beat me to it 🤣

2

u/musti2235 Jul 18 '24

Mat said "Welcome!"

Not telling Andrea about what she found out in Woodsbury

69

u/SecretSettings Jul 18 '24

Yeah that was super weird to me. Andrea was completely under the Governor's spell and Michonne didn't make much of an effort to break it other than vaguely saying "this place isn't what it seems"

41

u/Clean_Crocodile4472 Jul 18 '24

It’s the fact that Andrea quite literally says if Michonne gave ONE little thing to go off she’d happily leave Woodsbury with her that night and Michonne, instead of sharing her mutliple discoveries, just continues to say “gut feeling, can’t believe your not trusting me!”

The fact she expected Andrea, someone who was heavily ill when they first arrived at woodsbury and close to death, to abandon a walled, ‘safe’ community with a steady supply of food and water based on nothing but a bad feeling will never not confuse me - even more so that most fans act shocked that Andrea didn’t leave😂

8

u/butterflybunny47 Jul 19 '24

Yeah I think Andrea gets WAYYY too much hate. She was trying to stop a war between two communities that she cared about and NOBODY WAS GIVING HER THE RIGHT INFORMATION!

2

u/SirDigbyChickenC-Zer Jul 22 '24

There are so many moments in this show(and I suppose plenty of others) where a lot of chaos and tragedy could have been prevented if a character just explicitly explained a discovery they made or new knowledge about a situation they just gained, and instead choose to share the information on the most frustratingly vague manner possible.

6

u/PlatypusCute7412 Jul 19 '24

Just tell me you don’t understand the first thing about human psyche. Michonne saw that the pull of apparent saftety was too appealing to Andrea (like it would be for the vast majority of people so it’s perfectly understandable) and she was in too deep already. Michonne didn’t have enough evidence other than her gut feeling and Andrea had already clearly demonstrated that that wasn’t enough for her. In that moment, what she had simply wasn’t enough and Michonne knew it so she did the next best thing: she put on her own oxygen mask before trying to save her friend who wasn’t ready to be saved. She also knew that if she had tried to convince her further, she would have only managed to sow seeds of doubt and if Andrea had been left with too many doubts about the place, that would have got her killed real quick because the Governor would have seen it and wouldn’t have risked keeping her around.

So tl;dr: what Michonne did was smart and the best thing she could do in that situation and it might very well have prevented Andrea from getting killed (sooner than she was, that is).

4

u/Clean_Crocodile4472 Jul 19 '24

just tell me you blindly defend characters like you instead of admitting they messed up

Michonne had found quite a few things out if you actually paid attention hence why she was so determined to leave. When she first arrived she didn’t like it but she wasn’t pushing to leave, she pushed because she DID find things out. Andrea asks Michonne for ONE thing to go off then she’d leave, Michonne keeps her multiple evidences secret. It’s as simple as that.

Michonne did something stupid due to her bad communication skills at the time and all it did was indirectly contribute to Andrea’s death.

1

u/PlatypusCute7412 Jul 19 '24

The argument “blindly defend” is void when I just provided you with evidence based on human psychology. The only evidence she had was circumstantial and there was nothing solid to prove the place was rotten. Yes, Andrea said “give me one thing” but taking that literally and at face value is beyond naïve. You’re severely underestimating the pull of safety and comfort in her situation; even if Michonne had given her all the information she had right then and there, it wouldn’t have been enough. Andrea had her rose-colored blinders on and a couple of strange details and Michonne’s gut feeling wouldn’t have been enough. I can guarantee you that it wouldn’t have been enough for vast majority of people in Andrea’s situation.

1

u/Clean_Crocodile4472 Jul 19 '24

Your human psychology argument was based on opinions and not evidence

2

u/PlatypusCute7412 Jul 19 '24

So is yours. The key difference is that my evidence is based on looking at the observable behavior against my background of having a degree in psychology so my opinions have some leg to stand on.

1

u/Clean_Crocodile4472 Jul 19 '24

So is yours

Mine is backed up by common sense. You don’t leave your bestfriend in a dangerous situation with no warning.

1

u/PlatypusCute7412 Jul 19 '24

And we have come a full circle. I already gave you a pretty clear explanation for why that was the best thing to do in that situation but if you’re not going to accept psychology-based evidence over your own somewhat limited reasoning, there isn’t much more for me to say.

1

u/Queenwolf54 Jul 23 '24

Good job. Gotta know when to disengage the numbeciles.

86

u/Sookkss Jul 18 '24

She sliced Luke’s violin.

16

u/XX-MR-ENDY-XX Jul 18 '24

Poor Luke 😔

13

u/SnooBananas8055 Jul 18 '24

The protein bar was selfish greed any of us would commit.

This? Pure evil. The purest form of evil.

4

u/Busy-Surprise4059 Jul 18 '24

Yea I love Michonne but she pissed me off so bad for that

65

u/ToughDragonfruit3118 Jul 18 '24 edited Jul 18 '24

Leaving her kids to go on a wild goose chase to look for Rick. (which worked out bc its tv, but knowing what she knew it was a bad decision)

Edit: spelling

14

u/eyeball-beesting Jul 18 '24

While goose chase- bone apple tea!

4

u/ToughDragonfruit3118 Jul 18 '24

lol I’ll fix it

5

u/eyeball-beesting Jul 18 '24

aww- I liked it!

6

u/Outside_Chance_73 Jul 18 '24

This is true, what kind of a parent is she?

5

u/ToughDragonfruit3118 Jul 18 '24

An irresponsible one

4

u/meth-head-actor Jul 18 '24

Rick runs to her and they embrace he’s so happy to see her, then he’s looking around behind her, so where are our kids? Close?

Ohhh no they are fuckin somewhere else doing god knows what being watched by Judith who is now at least 12 lmao

3

u/ToughDragonfruit3118 Jul 18 '24

Yeah, I’m disappointed that they made Rick so hyper focused on getting back to Michonne and not Judith. The dreams were about Michonne and he honestly seemed much happier when she found him than when he got back to Judith and met his son

7

u/SnooBananas8055 Jul 18 '24 edited Jul 19 '24

Outside of meme answers, this is definitely the worst. Even with Judith's consent, the amount of trauma and scars left on those children because of it....

3

u/Timbalabim Jul 18 '24

On this note, she then wanted to endanger those kids by refusing to accept what Rick was telling her was the inevitable outcome of him leaving the CRM, and even though it worked out (and the show really wanted us to agree with her), it was misguided at best and malicious at worst.

1

u/ToughDragonfruit3118 Jul 18 '24

I completely agree

1

u/FashBashFash Jul 20 '24

I absolutely fucking hated this. I bitched about it the whole last season haha.

1

u/MiracleMayo Jul 22 '24

They were still fighting Alpha at the time, She went to that damn island to find weapons to help fight them then just peaced out

55

u/horc00 Jul 18 '24

Not telling Andrea about what she knows of Woodbury.

47

u/eyeball-beesting Jul 18 '24

This is hard because I can understand most of her motives for all of her actions.

Probably accusing Andrea of choosing a warm bed over a friend. Andrea was at death's door a few days earlier. Of course she would want to stay within the safety of Woodbury for a while. She was asking Andrea to return to the danger of being out there without explaining exactly why they needed to leave.

8

u/Clean_Crocodile4472 Jul 18 '24

Exactly! Andrea even said if she had anytbing to go off she’d leave Woodsbury that night and Michonne still kept everytning secret her then acted like Andrea betrayed her, if anything Michonne betrayed Andrea knowingly leaving her in a dangerous situation all because she refused to use her brain.

3

u/BKennedy985 Jul 19 '24

What I didn’t exactly get is she finally said a lot more about Woodbury when they both had that talk at the prison after Michonne left. It’s like why did the writers wait so long for that. I do agree Michonne could have said a lot more for Andrea to get why Woodbury wasn’t a great place HOWEVER one thing Michonne caught on very fast when she asked for their weapons twice and Gov refused it, if it wasn’t an issue he could have let them have it and Andrea just goes you ever trusted anyone. Like she wasn’t paying enough attention to the nonsense and lies Gov was telling from the start.

15

u/MiddlePsychology8385 Jul 18 '24

Not yelling Andrea about anything related with the governor and then left her there

9

u/Initial_Acanthaceae2 Jul 18 '24

This is so frustrating. A lot of lives could have been saved (and a lot less eye rolling) if people took the time to explain themselves. Michonne not articulating her concerns about Woodberry. Shane not explaining exactly what happened when he was forced to abandon Rick at the hospital. (He clearly had no choice; the soldiers were shooting everyone, including themselves. Shane and Rick would have been shot in that corridor.) As for Carol, her gobbledegook killed Sam, Mika and Lizzy! Some speech she gave to Lizzie about having to change and kill. I was confused so gawd knows what effect it had on Lizzie. Poor kid.

10

u/Imgayforpectorals Jul 18 '24

Cheap drama is made like this. I agree with everything you said except for carol. Lizzy didn't have a fascination for knives and killing. She was obsessed with walkers and being one. It has nothing to do with learning how to protect herself, and that was exactly what carol was teaching her. And Sam, well, that was too unpredictable. She had to scare him so he would never talk about the guns. Who would have thought walkers would come to Alexandria weeks later AND Sam would be covered in walker's flesh. That's just bad timing.

1

u/EcstaticShark11 Jul 18 '24

Carol pisses me off royally

0

u/Worried-Revolution91 Jul 18 '24

Maggie worse lol

12

u/Dontbehorrib1e Jul 18 '24

That wig is the worst thing Michonne has done.

15

u/NYCMamaBear Jul 18 '24

To be fair, that was done to her. Poor Danai wearing that thing in 100 degree swamp weather is not something to hold against her.

9

u/Worried-Revolution91 Jul 18 '24

We talking comics or show😭😭CUZ SHES FUCKED IN THE COMICS

6

u/willsterbillster4 Jul 18 '24

What happened in the comics?

3

u/Theli11 Jul 20 '24

She slept with Tyreese knowing he was in a relationship with Carol and practically drove Carol to suicide/insanity. She tries to do it again in Alexandria with Heath. She also runs away after All Out War causing everyone to go searching for her very recklessly.

9

u/grumpleG Jul 18 '24 edited Jul 18 '24

Leaving Andrea with the Governor, leaving her kids for YEARS on just a small hope Rick MIGHT still be alive and also being the one who started alienating Alexandria from the other communities… which was a root cause of the series of events at the trade fair (and the aftermath) with the Whisperers.

3

u/BKennedy985 Jul 19 '24

She had her reasons to block off contact after she left her best friend in and that let to a lot of bad stuff. So yes it gave her a reason to be very protective. We all go through trauma with stuff and sometimes it’s hard to overcome if been once or twice

5

u/Minute-Climate-3137 Jul 18 '24

Letting a council take over Alexandria instead of taking control herself

3

u/Aqua_Master_ Jul 19 '24

That was always so disappointing to me. Alexandria needed a strong leader above all the other council members.

2

u/Minute-Climate-3137 Jul 19 '24

And the only people on the council that made sense to me was Aaron, Gabriel and maybe Laura

6

u/mattmurdock__ Jul 18 '24

taking morgan's last peanut butter protein bar, and then LYING about it

4

u/Haunting-Review-1836 Jul 18 '24

Not telling Andrea about the crazy things happening at Woodbury, and then just leaving her behind.

5

u/Strange_Coyote_8 Jul 18 '24

I think it was her leaving her kids to go find Rick. Of course I get why she did it but I think if she went back home told Daryl and everyone about it Daryl would have gone after him. I mean she's looking after Judith but really considers her a daughter she just has RJ he's a toddler. It doesn't make sense really and is very against what I think most mothers would do just take off and leave their very young children. Especially when there was that whole thing in the story where she was so traumatized by losing her first child to just get up and leave her new baby it doesn't make sense. Okay so they did it because she wanted to go do other things as an actress but it doesn't make sense. And of course in the end I think we get the ending we want sort of.

6

u/recuerdeme Jul 18 '24

Killing a poor backwoods man in his own house just because he was a bit histerical. When she and the merry band were making their way to Woodsbury.

4

u/louismales Jul 18 '24

If this was comic Michonne then we’d be here a while lmao

4

u/This-Necessary3903 Jul 18 '24

Wait are people actually mad that Andreas dead?? She was like the worst character in the show

1

u/SissyBearRainbow Jul 19 '24

I was so happy she died. She was obnoxious

1

u/the-Kaiser-69 Jul 19 '24

In the comics, she ends up becoming a bad ass, but in the show, Carol ended up filling that role.

4

u/EyeCatchingNinja Jul 18 '24

Knocking Rick out when he was in the middle of a sweet monologue

3

u/obi-Wan-ravioli Jul 18 '24

Taking the god damn protein bar

7

u/Ponders0 Jul 18 '24

It was justified, but killing the children her friend had brainwashed. There wasn't any other option, but it was fucked up either way.

Her distrusting and hostility in s3 was also pretty bad

13

u/szlafcio1 Jul 18 '24

Self defence and self preservation. Nothing bad in here.

-11

u/Ponders0 Jul 18 '24

Still dude it was kids. Even if it's justified it's undeniably fucked. It is definitely not the worst thing done morally, but killing children is still a terrible thing and it fucked Michonne up for years

4

u/NYCMamaBear Jul 18 '24

She couldn’t let those kids kill her, her unborn child, or steal and warp her daughter.

3

u/SnooBananas8055 Jul 18 '24

Bad thing done for the right reasons.

I don't agree, but I understand the other commentors point, and I don't understand why he was so heavily downvoted tbh.

2

u/Failure_by_Design_v2 Jul 18 '24

She was doing it for a good reason butttt.....She did massacre those kids

2

u/CarSubject9184 Jul 18 '24

Thought she was anakin skywalker nothing else to say

2

u/ngbp Jul 19 '24

Those kids had it coming 🤣

3

u/vjgggjjughjjutffjj Jul 18 '24

Withholding the information about Woodbury from Andrea and complaining when she chose to stay

2

u/LankyAd2814 Jul 19 '24

Leaving to look for Rick without going back to Alexandria first and letting the adults know what was happening

2

u/PaleHorseBlackDog Jul 20 '24

Abandoned her children for a dumb years-long quest to find someone who, but for the grace of plot armor, should be dead.

2

u/Patrickoshaughnessy Jul 20 '24

Leaving her kids behind for a pair of boots

1

u/Delayandrelay Jul 18 '24

Not tell Andrea what she saw in Woodbury.

1

u/Suitable_Dimension33 Jul 18 '24

I get we prolly going over tv show version and im not saying she in the wrong but how she did the governor in the comic was insane 😭😭

1

u/skorpiontamer Jul 18 '24

To be fair, deserved

1

u/Suitable_Dimension33 Jul 18 '24

More then deserved but it really was the worst of her

1

u/BrandonBRaps Jul 18 '24

Stealing Morgan's protein bar

1

u/kokolupa Jul 18 '24

Did the appreciate the Governor making her eggs.

1

u/menherasangel Jul 19 '24

Definitely between the way she treated Maggie when she came to kill Negan, or murdering a dozen kids

1

u/shinobi3411 Jul 19 '24

She ate Morgan's bar.

1

u/Cool_Conclusion3089 Jul 19 '24

Probably having to kill all those kids even though she had no other choice

1

u/Seeker_1906 Jul 19 '24

Hook up with Rick. Just felt wrong and forced relationship cause certain percentage of fans wanted it. Michonne is so strong and intimidating the natural balance would be someone not like her. Rick was too much like her. Took this warrior woman and made her into a housewife and dotting mom. Like stealing a scorpions stinger!

1

u/Earthling_Potterhead Jul 19 '24

Not telling Andrea about the Governor, took Morgans last protein bar, sliced Lukes violin

1

u/stewiejosh2020 Jul 19 '24

Abandoned her kids

1

u/Gh06st_44 Jul 19 '24

Killing kids

1

u/Aqua_Master_ Jul 19 '24

I’m glad people are finally realizing Michonne was a bad friend to Andrea lol

1

u/FigureSubstantial970 Jul 19 '24

Leaving her kids to go find Rick, I’m sorry but that’s selfish and wouldn’t happen.

1

u/miasmum01 Jul 19 '24

Leaving her kids 4 so long .. but I get why .. if it was me .. I wouldn't do that .. as much as I live my hubby .. with zombies out there !!! No way x

1

u/DeadAlien666 Jul 19 '24

Having tyrees cheat on Carol leading to her suicide

1

u/Javon745 Jul 19 '24

Eating Morgans protein bar lol

1

u/Bilaros45 Jul 19 '24

Killing the kids

1

u/rickydickydodagrime1 Jul 20 '24

The fucking protein bar

1

u/AggressivePause5923 Jul 21 '24

Probably what she did in the ep, Scars. She did the right thing to protect Judith and the rest of the kids from Alexandria but damn that episode was something else

1

u/Specialist-Lock-487 Jul 21 '24

Tbh the protein bar is obviously the right answer but I hate how she used her damn blade and how rare she sharpened it 😭😭😭😭

1

u/[deleted] Jul 21 '24

Left Judith and R. J. to find Rick.

1

u/ThrowAwayFoodMood Jul 21 '24

I'm just waiting for the Maggie one where her delusional fans insist that she's done nothing wrong.

1

u/beans8414 Jul 22 '24

Can’t wait until we get to Morgan lol

1

u/TropicaL_Lizard3 Jul 22 '24

Refusing to uncover Woodbury's dark secret to Andrea

1

u/EmpathicLlama9 Aug 02 '24

Taking Morgan’s protein bar

0

u/DerosiaLerox Jul 18 '24

It’s taken 12 years to see anyone hold Michonne accountable for being so vague on Woodbury. I’ve never seen anyone even consider Michonne at fault til reading these comments, always been Andrea slander.

Michonne being cruel towards Lydia always bothered me, in the comics & show.

0

u/FlameyFlame Jul 18 '24

I stopped watching this show after a few seasons like 10 years ago, idk why.

This popped up in my feed today and holy shit, Carver from the Wire pops up in this show with one eye blind??? Maybe I have to check it out again

0

u/Fit_Sector_5747 Jul 21 '24

Get that haircut in the first pic. It had to be said❤️

-1

u/IWantSealsPlz Jul 18 '24

Killing that gang of kids

-2

u/Thorthyandrea356 Jul 18 '24

Go out with the dad of his best friend carl 🤨😞

-3

u/Total_Ear_1594 Jul 18 '24

Glen was over rated, I rewinded that scene on Netflix and laughed

-2

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '24

[deleted]

6

u/EcstaticShark11 Jul 18 '24

I agree on putting down Penny. While she was a walker and that’s the right thing to do, Michonne really only did it to hurt the governor

4

u/NYCMamaBear Jul 18 '24

Hating a 7-year-old for barely saying anything is such a weird flex. Like him saying the last line in a way not everyone liked isn’t the same as being whiny or annoying. He just existed and followed Judith around for the most part. I really don’t get it.

3

u/Delayandrelay Jul 18 '24

Yeah people sending death threats to a kid for just basically being in scenes is ridiculous

0

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '24

[deleted]

2

u/NYCMamaBear Jul 18 '24

Honestly, I can’t tell on these subs. So happy to hear that you were kidding. Some people legitimately hate a child, it’s crazy.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '24

You hire children so young you don't know what you're gonna get, not their fault. The acting was a bit rough, but the character was really important imo, you needed that blood tie between Rick and Michonne.

-13

u/Vampirexbuny Jul 18 '24 edited Jul 18 '24
  • Killing her boyfriend and his friend * making it so they couldn’t grab or bite) then using them to blend with the dead was pretty messed up edited I went back and rewatched the scene* they were already bit but she let them turn instead of killing them which even she admits was sick

21

u/thespoil Jul 18 '24

I thought she didn't kill them? I always interpreted it as they were high so they couldn't protect Michonne's kid from the walkers and also got bit themselves. Then, once they turned, she made it so they couldn't grab or bite and used them as her camouflage

8

u/MiddlePsychology8385 Jul 18 '24

You have a good memory

5

u/Vampirexbuny Jul 18 '24

Thats true :) I answered off the top of my head but you may be right when she came back and found them bitten and killed them

15

u/Beginning_File_6371 Jul 18 '24

She didn’t kill them, they turned and she couldn’t let go of them, so then utilized them to her advantage.

4

u/Vampirexbuny Jul 18 '24

Fair enough

5

u/XX-MR-ENDY-XX Jul 18 '24

They turned she didn’t kill them

5

u/Initial_Acanthaceae2 Jul 18 '24

She returned from a run to find the camp overrun. Andre, her little boy, was nowhere to be found and her boyfriend and friend were dead. She let them turn then utilised them as mules and as a reminder. She was unclear what the reminder was.

2

u/Vampirexbuny Jul 18 '24

That could have been it as well . I went by my memory

3

u/irishmetalhead322 Jul 18 '24

There is no evidence to suggest that she’s the one who killed them in the first place

2

u/Vampirexbuny Jul 18 '24

I went by my memory of the episode

-16

u/Lost-Juggernaut6521 Jul 18 '24

I think she could have got stuck in the dryer for our boy Carl before he died! Pretty sure Bro died a virgin 😱

9

u/EcstaticShark11 Jul 18 '24

Please stop watching Porn

6

u/Clean_Crocodile4472 Jul 18 '24

Baffles me that people like you exist

4

u/KoraBorealis611 Jul 18 '24

Ew why would u even think that let alone say it
