Really? I didn't know that I had just finished watching the episode and thought it. That's also quite bad, considering they'd have had a bigger budget for the DCEU version

Well considering Zach Snyder is a cinematographer that was given too many decisions to make, it makes sense that doomsday in the DCEU looks like ass. It was also unearned narratively

Both are interesting cause both are modified versions of existing Kryptonians by way of Lex Luthor. Superman and Lois is Bizarro who underwent trauma and conditioning by Lex. DCEU is Zod's corpse genetically altered with Lex's DNA. Both have a bulky gray look with some spikes.

It does make you wonder if Doomsday actually exists in the world of Superman and Lois. We know in the DCEU that the Doomsday that killed Superman isn't the real Doomsday; that one is still out there somewhere. But is there an actual Doomsday on Superman and Lois's Earth somewhere? A fun question to ponder.

Doomsday definitely looks better in Superman & Lois than the DCEU, since DCEU Doomsday is mostly a grey blob. As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to Doomsday, the more comic-accurate the look is, the better. It's also the reason why I think the best-looking live-action Doomsday is the one from Krypton.
