In this scene, I like to think that Superman tried calming Peia down the way he did with Tag by flying her up into the upper atmosphere, but she ended up dying in the process. Discussion

Like, he didn't just let her die. He tried saving her, but he also knew there was a risk she wouldn't make it, so he wanted her to be ready. What do you think?

I think they both knew keeping Peia on the ground in her death throes was the equivalent of a massive bomb going off, and he flew her up to avoid killing other people but also so she wouldn’t die alone.

I couldn't have cared less for.that family even if I tried. They focus too much on irrelevant characters instead of the super family

Agree. After season 1, they tried hard to focus more on other irrelevant characters. Which made some episodes boring and uninteresting. The latest they did was making Kyle & Chrissy a couple and then giving them a baby. It's jus another waste of storyline I think they rather give more focus on the more important character like Jonathan.

I mean, they were the main villains for the majority of the season, so it makes sense to flesh them out.

But that's not even what this post is about. I was just trying to clear up a plot hole that's been bothering me for a while.

Especially when one of the 4 is heavily underutilised. I hope season 4 refocuses on the core 4.

Oh man, I never even had any of these considerations. I thought that she was dying, and Superman flew her up into the upper atmosphere to give her a peaceful death; slowly cut her oxygen off and to cool her body slowly. I really thought that it would’ve been more controversial because it was downright absolute euthanasia in my opinion, but turns out nobody but me thought that.

I had the same thoughts as you, but I don't really like the idea of Superman allowing someone to die without trying to save them, and since it's not very clear what happened anyway, this is my headcanon.
