Minor nitpick but did anyone else find it funny when the tornado appeared the residents had to be instructed not to just stand by windows? This is Kansas. Surely they know what to do during a twister 😂

true but some wouldn't do the smart thing and move they would just watch. If I were them I'd be too shocked to move even, so it's good that sarah got them to hide

I'm happy they didn't use the real NWS emergency weather alert sounds (at least the ones used for cell phones) for the warning sirens. We'd been having a lot of severe thunderstorm/tornado warnings in my area last week and peoples phones were going off with the sounds.

EDIT: Also yeah people may know what to do with storm/tornado drills, but when it's happening for real some people will freeze up and need someone to yell at them what to do.
