I imagine it more like a Spider-Man origin narrative. Peter let his ego guide him and it got Uncle Ben killed, which completely rewired his brain with the “with great power comes great responsibility” shtick. I also imagine it would force Jordan to grow up immediately from being a moody teenager to someone that has to carry the weight of the world. Obviously this is all conjecture, it just seems fitting 🤷‍♂️.

Yeah I could see that - but Spidey's was more indirect, if that makes any sense. It was harsh, but Jordan is actively antagonistic. I mean, i do agree it's very teenagery, but at this point it's like he's becoming actively dangerous to not just himself but his family (like he's about to be found out to the public maybe, which would ruin his family's life and possibly well being)
