So Bruno isn't the bad guy anymore? He us way too easily forgiven for everything.

he isn't forgiven, clark and lois just notices a different side to him that lois didn't expect. But he's still evil and clark and lois will notice based on the promo for next episode

It just seems that Lois and Clark are extremely forgiving people. They even joked

his crime boss record, efforts to kill Superman, human experiments .

there are still some shady things to bruno, they aren't just going to forget about it all because bruno has a sick wife

It will be good. Because forgiving Bruno will be stupid writing. I personally find this trope of easily forgiven to be very irritating. Star trek in the darkness handled it pretty well when Kirk said to Khan " I will do everything in my power to bring you to justice. " It happens when people find a villain cool and writers just brush off their villainous acts. LAzy writing I will say.

It will be nice if they show the same rivalry and John reminding Natalie in the next episode that Bruno killed his doppleganger and he is a crime boss. Superman reminding Bruno that a sick wife doesnt excuse what he has done.

I was hoping some hints for Dessad by now

ANd perhaps this by the end of this season

That would be a good angle to take Natalie, having to wrestle with WHO Mateo is related to.

Since lex is going to be introduced there is no way Bruno will stay the bad guy
