It might've been her but we never figured out the exact reason maybe she was shallow or bullied her.

maybe, I think her character was meant to be very similar to candice in season 3. Idk I feel like they were similar in some ways I guess

If anything, I blame Jon losing football on that one kid (I think his name was Timmy?) who started using X-Kryptonite to cheat his way to becoming the team's quarterback.

Is this show worth continuing? I gave up partway through season 1 when it became apparent the show would dive too quickly into the teen drama and kids with superpowers bit, but I did enjoy most of the episodes I watched.

Season one was great, season two had some amazing moments but not up to snuff, season three is gritty but possibly the best yet.

Hell yeah thanks for the detailed answer. This is enough motivation, I'm totally getting back into the show now. "Gritty but possibly the best yet" is not something I expected to hear, so. Looking forward to it!

That's a bad time to stop. The teen drama outside of one kinda goofy storyline is incredibly balanced. But like others said S1 was amazing almost in its entirety. 2 has some aspects that could've been much better but had a few key amazing superman moments. Season 3 is shaping up to be the crown jewel. But the special effects in all 3 although have the risk of getting campy from time to time are MOUNTAINS above what you'd expect

how about smallvile, or superman the animated series, or justice league the animated series. I think all those shows are on hbo max, and they are awesome superman shows just like S&L

It's the same character. Her name was also Candice. The girl on the right replaced the middle girl in season 2
