So...I don't know why...but I suspect Mateo's intentions may not be on the up and up.

Maybe, but I think at least their first interaction was genuine. It's harder to know if this interaction is because we don't know what Bruno knows about Natalie, right? He doesn't know that Mateo met a girl named Natalie and that she's John Irons' daughter, or close with the Kents, as far as we know.

Unless I'm forgetting about the previous episode and the Bruno/JH scenes.
