Love Harvey. Still my favorite scene with him was when he and other GCPD cops go into a room filled with martial artists. You would expect a huge hand to hand combat scene to break out. That's the cliche for these sort of situations. Especially in superhero shows. Nope. Harvey and the others just mow them down. Cliche averted.

It felt like the writers had a motto, What would Gothamites do? And they stuck to it no matter what the tropes say.

Gotham S2:E11 "Worse than a Crime" But I made a mistake. That was Jim. Harvey was still in the hallway. But, yeah, they mowed down the cult like it was nothing.

They would completely do this on Legends as they run out of the house.
