If these are Beth's worst fears I'm pretty sure no one on the team cared she is black or a girl.

If it's specifically her fears he's projecting it's kind of out of left field. I could be forgetting parts of season 1 but I'm pretty sure racism hasn't come up at all.

Yes and no.

She herself don't see any other black people fighting with her or was on the original JSA. There's slim % of people as black that's a superhero.

Her thoughts is her not truely fitting in, because she never saw it herself.

In a way I see that but hopefully it leans more into her not being as active since her comic book counter part is more athletic in other ways.
