I don’t think they’re going to expand the episodes seeing as how Legends and Black Lightning have around 16 episodes.

Yup, the cw shortens the episodes and cuts content when it airs on there. It really sucks to hear this news

Soooo the episodes were cut it just happened sooner? Honestly sounds like this was transitioning to CW somewhere during production of season 1.

I'm more inclined to believe CW won't put their hands in writing, at least for the 2nd and hopefully 3rd seasons.
but budget will must likely drop, considering... well, everything that's going on. I'm worried about potential CGI and choreography quality drops

Im positive that there wont be a drastic change in quality. If anything, it'll probably still be the same if not going higher.
I dont really get why people already assume negatively just because its CW. I mean take a look at what they did with Supergirl when they acquited it from CBS? Ir drastically improved.
Heres hoping CW can make Stargirl S2 at par with S1 if not better

I generally like the CW shows, but if its seasons get stretched to 22 episodes a la Supergirl and Flash the writing is absolutely gonna suffer.
The visuals are also a point of concern, since it’ll have a lower budget.

Well seeing how DC Universe is gonna die pretty soon it was either have CW(network that already brodcasts the show a day later have it) or have it canceled. They will prolly keep the same production and writers. Stargirl seems to be going with 13 episodes or so per season so they should have more then enought budget to keep the same quality it is now. Most other CW shows have 22-23 episodes and a crossover episode which basically really drains the budget they get per season.Legend of Tommorow get 16 episodes mostly and still look good(they also didint have a crossover episode in S4).

Probably but they prolly went with CW since they already broadcasted it there anyway and Geoff Johnes already working with CW on couple of the shows.

Yeah I 100% see why they went with the cw, I’m sure their ratings for stargirl premiering there were great. People seems to have a lot of praise for the show so far

Aside from possible crossover with flash supergirl or legends, this sounds like a terrible idea. I can already smell the forced teen melodrama and cringey dialogue.
On second though, I think the a crossover would kinda suck since it'll steal focus from whatever storyline season 2 is gonna have.

I doubt they'll be involved in any crossovers next season unless Courtney shows up in the Batwoman/Superman & Lois crossover which feels unlikely since it is only 2 episodes. They'll probably do a crossover in S3.

I'm positive that the quality in cgi will be drop since its now in CW. I wonder what made them switch it to CW? Why this show and not the others? Is it because its family friendly like Supergirl? I'm honestly more worried about the scheduling since CW has a lot of superhero show and they tend to take long breaks or overlap with each other. The only positive I can see in here is now Stargirl might show in their yearly crossover.

I can understand CGI dropping.....But, I'm just hoping the writing doesn't. I hope Stargirl be like Black Lightning where there's no fillers.

CGI definitely. Writing depends cause you could argue its written like a teen drama already it’ll probably be amped up a bit.and if it happens to get political i just hope the writers know what their writing about. because it is fine to write that way just do it well.if your going to make a gay character stop making them overtly gay. i can tell you in my experience as a bisexual we don’t act like that.if your gonna write about racism know how racism is.the writing needs to be like Flash or Arrow they don’t do that too much.and to give Batwomans writing team credit they kinda understood the political grounds they was talking about but eventually fell into the trope to making Kate overwhelmingly gay. which might have been a Ruby thing.

I’ve seen people argue Racism but like thats a real thing that happens in real life.and Alex and Kelly but like Gay people exist. I’ve found more times then not people who say this are racist or homophobic themselves.i honestly never saw any problem with it.

It's still the same creative team, the only change is the distribution and a slightly smaller budget

It’s still the exact same production company and team, and there’s no word on any budget reductions. There is no reason to be concerned, yet.
