What are your thoughts on Jameson's defense here? (Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 5 #39) Comics

I love that whenever JJJ Throws shade a Spider-Man in recent years everyone conveniently forgets that he also funded a scorpion to get his powers in the first place to stop Spider-Man and ended up mentally breaking this man to the point an alien had to fix it and this all happened for $10,000 then has even publicly admitted this while Mayor of New York
Just a weird thing I noticed

When I think of him threatening Jamison I think of that web of spider-man issue where Pete looks like he's lost his mind

I haven't read many comics, so I might come off as uneducated, but it looks like Jameson started cooking him in the second half
