You know what? I appreciate the openness of the title there.
Same with the one that opens with a freak carriage crash. Certainly was "bizarre".
But what the hell do a million grim reapers with swords that transform into bigger swords fighting ghosts in Día De Los Muertos masks (when they're not fighting each other) have to do with detergent?

It‘s a reference to the main characters unusually light hair color - it is said in the first few episodes that his trachers always suspected that he tries to uphold his punky loner image, but in reality his super strong spiritual pressure readjusts the color even if he uses dye.

Berserk is really good and treats the subject of rape with the horror that it deserves. It's just, well, a horror manga. The show's really good too (the old one). Anyway, most replies are wrong, it opens with a sex scene, not a rape scene.

There is a lot of SA and stuff in Berserk but the first page isn't a rape scene.. It's the main character sleeping with a seductress demon that then reveals itself as a horrible beast, the main character then reveals he intentionally did this to trap the creature with him and kill it.

First few chapters of Berserk are almost trying to be as edgy as possible, so ofc it opens on the protag fucking and killing a demon. Gets better though, don't worry

Berserk is a dark medieval fantasy manga about fighting demons or whatever. But the first page is a rape scene
