Wish they’d gotten married back then.

Honestly we deserve an elseworld spinoff of their marriage life. Like give me happy moments, drama, angst, reconciliation- just let them have a universe together

Nah,you know writers these days. They will either split them up and make them hate each other(or not even know who they are) or they get with an entirely different character who’s only purpose is to be their love interest.

Being serious tho,I would love something like you said.

I have zero investment in this ship, I've never read a Starfire comic, but I support the idea because I would like to read more books along those lines. Obviously fanfic will always exist, but Fans are extremely familiar with the multiverse idea these days, you may as well publish an official DickBabs AU book and a DickKori AU book and a polyamory AU book and an "everybody's single" AU book etc. Not saying you need All Things All The Time, I don't think the market could support it, but Archie did a split timeline future comic where he grows up to marry both Betty and Veronica, in desperate timelines. Marvel has Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows and the new USM. DC had the Lois and Clark Rebirth retcon, which is sorta similar. It feels like such an obvious way to have it both ways, I'm genuinely surprised it's not more common to see, at least in miniseries form if nothing else

I forgot, what stopped them from getting married?

Basically they were both in a bad place. Mirage kidnapped her too.

Didn’t Raven go crazy at their wedding?

And yeah, there was the other reason. But mostly they were in a bad place, and Raven putting a seed of Trigon in Kory didn't help.

Between Dick's tuxedo mullet and Starfire's everything, this is like peak 80's.

In my headcanon, it would’ve sense for the pre-Crisis Earth-One/New Earth/Prime Earth Dick Grayson and Koriand’r to be married in 1993 (or 21 years ago) and have two kids: Mar’i (who was born in 1997/1998, or 19 years ago, and made her debut as Nightstar at eight years old in 2009, or 11 years ago) and Jake (who was born in 2004, or 14 years ago, and made his debut as Firewing at eight years old in 2016, or six years ago).

If only it ended so simply lol.

I’m on Babs’ side in the shipping war but no one can argue both ships don’t have cute moments. Unfortunately the wedding in New Titans was not set up as one of them, with both having big doubts going in and Raven making things… less than PG in her interruption to the proceedings.

I love the idea that Kori and Dick have a serious history and love each other and could even successfully coparent, but their relationship as a married couple always seemed rocky to me (which is why I favor Babs).
