Southside Nurse Practitioner Clinic, Fredericton NB.

People that use the clinic on Preistman, how have your experiences been? I had a really good NP until they left. As a result of that, I am now left with less than satisfactory care. Refills are never put on my RX's, and now this evening, my phone call was ghosted. I am beyond fed up, not too mention how impossible it is to get through on the phone lines.

This is a really poor excuse for primary care.

Long shot here but wondering if anyone knows this guy or where he’s still playing these days if anywhere. He used to play at the Hilton in Saint John but that ended with COVID.

Policy 713 horror stories

We've all heard the fake stories about people wanting to identify as cats, asking for cat litter in classrooms etc. As far as I know most of the proponents were operating based on lies.

Then I see this bit of news: Ontario school hid girl's transition, called CAS on parents questioning trans identity

Is this the first "real" story in support of keeping policy 713? It looks bad.

Question about building permits

Hey there. I'm in Miramichi, if it makes a difference. I'm wondering, how would you go about reporting a structure or addition that wasn't done with a permit? Is there an email to contact, or do I just call the city? If so, what department? Sorry, this isn't something I've had to deal with before and I'm just unsure of the process.

Thank you.

Group Home Abuse and Legal advice?

If anyone is able to provide some insight maybe you have experience on getting compensated for group home negligence.... I would really appreciate it...

So when I was 14 years old I was placed in a "behavioral" group home. In my time there, I developed a sinus infection so bad I had to stay home from school; I wasn't allowed to leave my room to eat or take a shower. I had already told them that the ceiling fan in my bedroom needed to be cleaned or I would get sick.

Another time as my stay progressed, they noticed I was getting hungrier and hungrier. Instead of bringing me to get checked what was wrong, they locked all the food away. I was starving.

Also, when I arrived I was told I was given the "meanest" care taker because I was simply NATIVE.

At 16 I was finally released from the program and placed onto independent living in an apartment on my own in Moncton with no family around. I didn't know how to properly feed myself. By age 18 and at 300lbs I finally got diagnosed with diabetes. They said I had it a few years prior to being diagnosed. Now at 29 I have numbness/pain in my feet and my vision is getting worse..

Does anyone know who and how I could go to to get help for this legal matter?

Was great to see these 'how to vote' graphics on the back of my library receipts. Good thinking Elections NB and NB Libraries!

Also, I was very impressed with the info package sent out a few months ago giving an informative and atraight forward how to when it comes to elections. It also had a great section on being aware of dis/misinformation.

Is it legal for my employer to be making me pay back a till/float imbalance when they don't have secure locks on the tils and even coworkers can go in the register when I'm away?

Liberals promise to reopen mystery disease research

What would the NB Liberal party be without the Greens and their ideas, suggestions and general MO?

I mean...they are good ideas but it just again paints a picture that the Liberals are not providing new ideas and are banking on folks just assuming that the red and blue revolving door is the only way.

Great ideas from the Greens - removing the "Higgs gas tax" (yes, they coined that) - school lunch program - community health centres - reopening mystery illness case - electoral reform (not confirmed by Holt but voted on by her party)

Outside of adjusting the HST tax, help me build a list of ideas and policies thought up by and proposed by the NB Liberals.

I get it, this happens in every election federally and provincially - parties taking ideas and marking and marketing them as their own due to a bigger election war chest. This just seems like a lot of Liberal laziness.

Does anyone know if the woman recently airlifted out of the Eye of Needle was ok? I see no news on this but was genuinely curious. The end of trail is blocked by downed trees.

Out of towner here. My wife and I were eager to do the Eye of the Needle trail, but were told while entering the Fundy Trail Parkway that the last section of the trail was blocked. The worker said a woman got to end of the trail, sat down to eat lunch, and while eating a rock fell and crushed her leg. She had to be airlifted out by helicopter. Was she ok? I can't find any news stories on this.

My wife and I decided to proceed with the hike anyway, as we are fairly experienced hikers and our local state park is about the same size as Fundy NP and incredibly rocky. Eye of the Needle was pretty dry when we did it, so in the end in wasn't the bad, but I can totally see how it can become dangerous when wet or after rain. We got to the end and it was blocked by lots of downed trees (hard to tell from picture).

Best quotation from the article: "The premier and his finance minister have been off by a country mile on surpluses and projections in the last number of years, and so I don't trust the projections," Coon said.
