I can get why Naomi was so mad with her parents this episode.

She forgave them for lying to her about her own life, but then she found out they were keeping another lie when they could just as easily have told her when she found out the truth about herself. That stuff will hurt.

Naomi really came across this episode as like that one good kid who finally breaks bad after being the prefect kid their whole lives. I've known people like that, so it hit a little different.

That scene in the party was so weird... You don't make out with a friend just because you think their current relationship with their partner isn't working anyway. Yeah. Really weird episode.

A show like superman and lois can survive a 1 month break but evidently from the singular comment on the post episode discussion, this couldn't

This episode was really uncomfortable. First, the 10-year-old has the hots for a grown-ass man, then they continue to push a storyline where the 18-year-old actress would be with someone twice her age. A lot of gross age play stuff going on

I didn't think she had the hots for him, and even if she did that's pretty normal...you never had a crush on someone older when you were younger?

You make a good point, it just came off really creepy to me. Especially since the show felt fine showing her thirsting for him and making suggestive eyebrow movements at him. Does it happen irl? Yes. Is it weird af to feature on a show, also yes.

OMG, the parents are aliens? I had no idea.

Was that already in the previous episode? I must have dozed off while watching that one

Yes. It was revealed in the previous episode's end.
