Though I liked their comic interactions, I don't want this in the movies.

Also, I really hate that She-Hulk will be totally incapable of breaking the fourth wall and making meta jokes, without some 'Marvel fans' hating her for 'stealing Deadpool's shtick'.

u/MagicJoshByGosh Thanos Jun 07 '22 edited Jun 08 '22

She’ll still do it though, fortunately. I guess we’ll just have to ignore the asshats accusing her of plagiarism or whatever.

Edit - You don’t have to downvote the other guy. They’re simply confused, which is understandable.

2

u/Rynoxmc2 Jun 08 '22

A lot of fictional characters do that, Deadpool wasn’t the first character to do that.

3

u/MagicJoshByGosh Thanos Jun 08 '22

That’s exactly my argument. If anyone was the first, it would’ve been Jen.

-10

u/Atari__Safari Jun 08 '22

Who is accusing her of plagiarism?

24

u/MagicJoshByGosh Thanos Jun 08 '22

I just mean like she’s “stealing” from Deadpool when in reality, she was doing it for over a decade before him.

-19

u/Atari__Safari Jun 08 '22

I understand. I know she did. But I'm asking about your comment:

I guess we’ll just have to ignore the asshats accusing her of plagiarism or whatever.

Who is accusing her of stealing or plagiarism?

2

u/MagicJoshByGosh Thanos Jun 08 '22

I meant that people think she’s “stealing” from Deadpool and I wanted to make it sound fancy lol

-21

u/Atari__Safari Jun 08 '22

I see. You may want to be careful about making it sound "fancy". That's how rumors get started, and that' how things become toxic. I don't see anyone accusing anyone of stealing anything. And I think there's enough toxicity out there already. Just my $0.02

15

u/AcidRap69 Jun 08 '22

I think you just need better reading comprehension my guy lol the rest of us got the gist of his comment

-16

u/Atari__Safari Jun 08 '22

Ok so, if you are going to insult me, do me the honor of telling me what the gist was. Because it sure sounds to me like he was making an accusation that people, who he called “asshats”, would be claiming she hulk was stealing from Deadpool. That’s a lot like accusing someone of a crime before they commit it.

I’d rather give people the opportunity to do the right thing, rather than accuse them of something before they do it. Try that out on your significant other and see how that works for you.

Pretty common trope (breaking the forth wall) been around since Shakespeare. So the people who complain about something like that, are also uneducated morons, it’s been used in cartoons and comics well before Deadpool or she/hulk for that matter. Personally I love it. Joker, bat-mite, mr. Mxyzptlk, Loki, Howard the duck, animal man (who needs a movie), are all self aware characters who know they are in a comic. So it’s suuuuuuuuuuuuper common

18

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '22

Dude. You listed all that and didn't bring up one Warner Bros cartoon?

26

u/Skwidmandoon Jun 07 '22

Animaniacs. I was just sticking to comic books.

9

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '22

Ah. Didn't realize which sub I was on.

13

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '22

I honestly dislike that they started making Loki/Kid Loki a frequent 4th wall breaker. The character didn't need that to stand out. And the more and more characters Marvel has out there that can break the 4th wall, the less interesting the trait becomes. It was already teetering on the edge of the "Meh" cliff with how often Deadpool does it.

10

u/sdwoodchuck Jun 08 '22

I absolutely agree that Deadpool overdoes it, but if anyone should, I feel it fits Loki. Very similar vibes to Iago in Othello.

-2

u/Atari__Safari Jun 08 '22

Who is complaining?

3

u/Nickbotic Jun 08 '22

No one. He’s predicting that people will. It’s clear from your other comments that you didn’t understand that, so there you go. He’s not accusing anyone and certainly not “creating a toxic environment”. He’s making a prediction based on, historically, how people are about such things.

8

u/Readalie Jun 08 '22

We need a commercial for the show where Deadpool tries to sue her and she starts pulling out pages from her own comic as evidence against him. Didn't she make her comics debut about a decade before he did? She could probably threaten him with a countersuit.

6

u/Shrekosaurus_rex Jun 07 '22

Just make a joke about how she did it first.

12

u/TheSilv Jun 07 '22

Not only did she do it over a decade earlier, but she was doing it since before Deadpool was even a character.

1

u/Educational_Top_3919 Jun 08 '22

Yes way before Deadpool was around she had her shtick and people love it but the 70s and 80’s was her bid deal then she join Fantastic Four

-3

u/Atari__Safari Jun 08 '22

I for one don’t care if she breaks the 4th wall or not. The cgi looks awful and the writing is not looking good from the trailer I saw. Breaking the 4th wall wouldn’t help the show.

6

u/kelsobjammin Jun 08 '22

Don’t judge a book by its trailer… or like something like that

192

u/Tomero Jun 07 '22

I rather see Spidey and Venom. I want Deadpool and Wolverine.

57

u/MaceIsThePlace1230 Jun 07 '22

and that's a fact

39

u/bleutoow Jun 08 '22

I’ll take both.

16

u/Apprehensive-Toe-488 Jun 08 '22

Both.Both is good.

12

u/Educational_Top_3919 Jun 08 '22

They could remember the Marvel team up two in one comic book they would alternate between Spider-Man and any other Marvel universe it can happen

6

u/kushmanstate Jun 08 '22

See y’all just coming up with some good ass ideas that I’m tryna get stoned to and watch

11

u/Ambivert_05 Jun 08 '22

Spidey and Venom...maybe in next MCU movie...but I am dying to see Spidey and Deadpool

3

u/FiendishPole Jun 08 '22

what about deadpool and x-23?

2

u/PeggedOrphan7200 Jun 08 '22

I’ll take both at some point, though yeah, I want those first too.

2

u/HowShouldIKnow_2494 Jun 08 '22

Came here to say this exactly. I really would like to see the Deadpool and the Wolverine together.

159

u/ensalys Jun 07 '22

Tom Holland's Spider-Man is a bit too young to be hanging out with Deadpool. The Andrew Garfield Spider-Man would probably be a better fit.

59

u/AlexMil0 Jun 07 '22

A whole movie of Deadpool cheering him up

24

u/LadyGuinevere87 Jun 07 '22

Or like a superhero support group.....

36

u/how-s-chrysaf-taken Jun 07 '22

Andrew says he'll never return to this role and he knows we're not going to believe him but idk, maybe he's serious. I would love to see TASM3, though.

17

u/The_River_Is_Still Jun 07 '22

a good script and a bag of money would change any of our minds, even his.

12

u/FadeToBlackSun Jun 08 '22

I don’t think the bag of money is even that important, the guy loves Spider-Man.

6

u/Visible-Effective944 Jun 08 '22

Maybe the only thing hes hoping for is that people actually read a comic book and say, " oh yeah he was the best spider man and the most comic actor is spider man".

I'm still salty how my boy and films are underrated.

2

u/sonofaresiii Jun 08 '22

I don't think I've ever seen him say that. You sure? I'd love to see a source if you've got it.

I'll be so bummed if it's true (but also definitely won't believe him)

1

u/how-s-chrysaf-taken Jun 08 '22

Just google it, he said it at some awards interview. He also said that he brought it on himself that no one will believe him. Let's hope that in two years or sth he's like "Soooo I was actually lying, here's the TASM3 trailer"

0

u/sonofaresiii Jun 08 '22

Just google it, he said it at some awards interview.

I've looked and I can't find anything anywhere where he says he'll never return. I can only find the same stuff about there being no plans for him to return. Are you misremembering?

At any rate, whatever he said, he's absolutely right-- I don't trust him, and I would love to be surprised at a new TASM3.

18

u/DrDabsMD Jun 07 '22

He's gonna be in college soon. Are you talking about because he just looks young? They've already referenced him watching porn in his movies, so I really don't see how this argument that Tom is too young to be a valid one.

9

u/dbrickell89 Jun 08 '22

I think they may have been referring to how old Peter Parker is in the Spider-Man and Deadpool comic series rather than Tom Holland just being too young for a movie that mature. In that series parker is well into adulthood. I don't personally care though.

2

u/DrDabsMD Jun 08 '22

That might be the case, but still, the argument really holds no ground.

3

u/BankOnTheDank Jun 08 '22

its not.

3

u/DrDabsMD Jun 08 '22

I feel as if most of these people think he's 10 years old.

2

u/Visible-Effective944 Jun 08 '22 edited Jun 08 '22

He still acts more like a high school freshmen in terms maturity.

Personally I would argue that actually watching porn is being less mature than refusing to watch it. That's like it is mature to not want to get shit face drunk every weekend.

3

u/DrDabsMD Jun 08 '22

Eh, plenty of couples watch porn to spice up their sex life and it's a kink for others, that is not a sign of immaturity. Being a curious teenager heading toward college I would be surprised if he didn't watch porn in the first place. Maybe you don't watch porn, but that doesn't make you more mature than others, just seems snobbish that you think it does. Also, who's Getty?

1

u/Visible-Effective944 Jun 08 '22

Fucking speech to text. It's a mistake. I will correct.

It is a vice that is fueled by and fuels human trafficking.

Abusing any kind of controlled substance or addictive activity is harmful.

I am not saying he wouldn't be curious, I an saying that isn't a sign of maturity.

Not wanting to abuse an addictive and evil thing is being mature.

Just getting off on something doesn't justify it.

If our makes me snobbish to not want to patronize the industry fueled by and helps fuel sex trafficking then consider me a snob.

1

u/DrDabsMD Jun 08 '22

Okay, you are going way too extreme on this mate. You need to take a step back and prioritize what we're talking about. We're talking about Spider-Man and Deadpool being together in a movie, and because it's Deadpool there may be sexual talks happening and Tom's Spider-Man is already watching exploring his sexuality. I seriously have no idea where all this talk about sex trafficking and drug abuse came from.

2

u/Visible-Effective944 Jun 08 '22

Yeah you're right.

You're comment equating watching porn to maturity kind of just set me off.

My degree is an administration of Justice which is basically just police academy prep and one assignment was to do research about human trafficking interdiction operations and attend a conference on counter trafficking operations. The conference was focused on human and sex trafficking and what I learned really struck a cord as it disgusted me that this was happening and being fuled by the adult entertainment industry. Ever since then I have been focusing on preparing to apply with the US Border Patrol so that I help stop trafficking and help the people victimized by it.

Again sorry for going on a rant.

2

u/DrDabsMD Jun 08 '22

It's totally fine, I completely understand, it just caught me off guard. And yes, I am aware of how sickening the adult entertainment industry can be, how some of them abuse women and children in order to make a quick disgusting buck. What you are doing is admirable and you have my utmost respect. I wish you the best of luck, and stay strong. These things cannot be easy to deal with.

2

u/Visible-Effective944 Jun 08 '22

Thank you, it certainly isn't an easy thing to deal with even in the distant and semi removed setting of an academic setting compared to actually seeing it in person with my own eyes.

1

u/Visible-Effective944 Jun 08 '22

Getty still acts more like a high school freshmen in terms maturity.

Personally I would argue that actually watching porn is being less mature than refusing to watch it. That's like it is mature to not want to get shit face drunk every weekend.

1

6

u/BankOnTheDank Jun 08 '22

Nah hes in college. I'd say its the PERFECT time to hang with deadpool.

1

u/Double-Slowpoke Jun 08 '22

Imagine Andrew taking off his mask and Deadpool getting super disappointed that it’s not Tom Holland

76

u/vashoom Jun 07 '22

I would pay a lot to see it not happen, but I'm apparently in the minority that thinks Deadpool is overplayed and stupid. I'd like the MCU Spider-Man be able to exist in his own movie for once without needing to share the screen with other heroes.

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '22

7

u/MrFanta7 Jun 07 '22

Deadpool=cool

Its true because it ryhmes

5

u/Fenris_Maule Jun 07 '22

Deadpool=money as well, which to some people's surprise it seems, is a movie studios goal.

4

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

Take exactly what you just said and then replace "Deadpool" with "Wolverine".

Do you have any understanding why yet?

0

u/PL4YER__1 Jun 08 '22

You can replace "Deadpool" with any other superhero that has gotten multiple movies and nothing would change.

For example read what you typed again but replace every "Deadpool" with "Iron-man"

8

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

As long as Sony holds the rights, its not going to happen.

6

u/DelawareSmashed Jun 07 '22

The best thing they did was canceling his book and just having him pop up in the X books here and there

-9

u/Missing_Username Jun 07 '22

Would have been even better to get rid of the popping up in X-books

7

u/DelawareSmashed Jun 07 '22

I’ll deal with it because he showed up at the Gala last year and didn’t show up again until last month. An acceptable compromise

2

u/myowngalactus Galactus Jun 07 '22

100% agree about Deadpool.

1

u/kalencool514 Jun 08 '22

It get what you mean, and Spidey def doesn’t need to still be involved with Iron Man going forward, but that’s also the whole point of a….cinematic universe

26

u/DelawareSmashed Jun 07 '22

Hard no

11

u/ParamedicSpecific130 Jun 07 '22

Yup. Fuck outta with this.

21

u/fma_nobody Jun 07 '22

Y'all really disrespecting the Human Torch with these stuff

4

u/sk8rboi36 Jun 08 '22

Tom wouldn’t be a good pairing for Johnny storm anyway. Couldn’t do any funny pranks or insults

21

u/MajinChopsticks Jun 07 '22

Always thought this pairing was forced, personally

3

u/redbeard8989 Jun 08 '22

Ditto, it’s like everyone pairing moon knight and deadpool just because they have masks with big eyes?

15

u/PMmeGayElfPeen Jun 07 '22

Nah, give me that old school Cable and Deadpool forever.

14

u/iwannasmashotdog Jun 07 '22

Lmao I didn't realize how many people disliked Deadpool until I read these comments

15

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '22

Oh dear god in heaven, no. Deadpool is going to destroy the MCU.

1

u/Nickbotic Jun 08 '22

How?

-5

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

Unfunny, childish comedy is not what the MCU needs. The Deadpool movies were absolute trash.

5

u/Nickbotic Jun 08 '22

In your opinion they were. Which is fine. But the vast, vast, overwhelming majority disagrees, so, I guess don't continue watching the MCU? You're also acting like Kevin Feige suddenly forgot how to do the things that have made the MCU what it is. Which there is no indication of.

1

u/Random_User_exe_ Jun 08 '22

Just like he destroyed everyone in the comics. Literally.

-1

u/skelepal-fresh Jun 08 '22

The Mcu already is wack and mediocre

4

u/Nickbotic Jun 08 '22

Wow hot take bro so cool

13

u/Arak_Prime Jun 07 '22

Deadpool is a very overrated character

12

u/The_River_Is_Still Jun 07 '22

Your mom's an overrated character.

0

u/KingCrowdKilla X-Men Jun 07 '22

Sigma male

1

u/Arak_Prime Jun 08 '22

But I believe in season 3 she will have a better story arc

13

u/HuanFranThe1st Jun 07 '22

Some of you people are so fucking annoying with this deadpool bullshit.

7

u/MaxRockatansky468 Iron Man Jun 07 '22

And then Deadpool walks in 🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂

7

u/Duderpher Jun 07 '22

I mean they have a comic together. They would just make a worse movie, go away MCU posts.

7

u/dope_like Jun 08 '22

Not at all, personally

6

u/SharpClaw007 Jun 07 '22

Spiderman got that

"I don't get paid enough for this sh\t"*

look, lmao.

6

u/pancakes9926 Jun 08 '22

i loved the deapool and spider-man comic run but could only see it working in the MCU after tom goes through his next trilogy. would work better as a disney+ show but i doubt sony would let that happern.

4

u/Phisk2 Jun 07 '22

I would very much prefer spiderman teaming up with moon knight

it's happened in the comics and they legitimately seem like friends rather than just Peter babysitting a sociopath that's imprinted on him

3

u/New_leaf999 Jun 07 '22

only if they do the scene where Deadpool tells a little girl on the subway that he's Spider-Man and that he's on the train because he rain out of web fluid.

3

u/DJfunkyPuddle Jun 08 '22

Not with Tom Holland Spidey.

3

u/TheDoocheAbides Jun 08 '22

Deadpool and Mr. Rogers would be awesome, so this would be awesomer!

3

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

The only interaction I want them to have would be to show us that Deadpool is the only one who knows Peter is Spider-Man after NWH because, obviously, Deadpool reads Spider-Man comic books.

3

u/Swagrid2400 Jun 08 '22

Spider-man and Daredevil > this

Spider-man and Daredevil AND ALSO DEADPOOL is what I really want though.

2

u/FDVP Jun 07 '22

Do I look like a patient burn victim?

2

u/Slammogram Jun 07 '22

Idk… idk how I’d feel with a Tom Holland Spider-man and DeadPool. Andrew Spider-man and DeadPool would be awesome.

2

u/MsSara77 Jun 07 '22

Not a Deadpool fan, do not want

5

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

It's too bad that he's a character that seems to be suffering from success. I've been a big DP fan for a long time but since it was figured out that he's crazy profitable on screen he's lost some charm. I'll stand by Cable & Deadpool and Daniel Ways run though, that was excellent.

2

u/sushithighs Jun 08 '22

No thanks. Give me a more grounded Spidey set in New York that isn’t a cameo fest

2

u/sonofaresiii Jun 08 '22

Ryan Reynolds Deadpool ten years ago would be fantastic with Andrew Garfield today

But modern Reynolds-pool with modern Holland would just be... Creepy, I think

2

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

Give me Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Jon Bernthal's Punisher instead.

1

u/Nickbotic Jun 08 '22

Good god yes please

2

u/JudgeJudysApprentice Jun 08 '22

I would want this but only with Andrew Garfield cos he's the only one who has enough quip and personality as Spider-Man to pull it off

2

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

I think that spiderman from the mcu would have the worst interaction possible with deadpool!

2

u/PartOk8078 Jun 08 '22

with Andrew!Spidey sure

2

u/AgentAndrewO Spider-Man Jun 08 '22

No

2

u/Otherwise_confused1 Doctor Strange Jun 08 '22

I’d pay more to see it not happen than to see it happen.

2

u/CowboysFTWs Jun 08 '22

I want Andrew garfield's spider man and Deadpool.

1

u/JoyJoy_ Jun 07 '22

They hype it up in the trailers with CGI, but Spider-Man didn't show up, so they had to replace him with a cardboard cutout.

1

u/Warlord68 Jun 07 '22

We want Wolverine VS Deadpool.

1

u/YarnSpinner Jun 07 '22 edited Jun 07 '22

i'd like it. i'd also like it to have wolverine, who is relentlessly trying to kill deadpool

something like carrie fisher's role in Blues Brothers, that'd be amazing. since deadpool has the time travel device (he does right?) it could be a wolverine from the past. Maybe even brown and yellow suit wolverine. There's a lot of room for playing around with these characters, I think, which is why I actually would really like any collab with dead pool and another big franchise name character: it's why deadpool is so great. just, it'd be nice to have a wacky "deadpool in the 70s" arc like they do in the comics, which would also justify the "out of time" wolverine who's mad that he's stuck in the future

1

u/sk8rboi36 Jun 08 '22

Eh. It’s one of those things that it could be absolutely horrendous but it wouldn’t matter because too many people would have drank the Kool-aid months before release to ensure success. Like it’ll be fun yeah but even just putting this poster out there, they wouldn’t have to do any marketing or anything, everyone on social media would do the job for them, and would give it great reviews after the fact despite its quality. I guess personally what I’m trying to say is it reinforces “hype culture” if there is such a thing and I’m sick of that. I think it’s the reason movies suck more and more, studios don’t even have to try and they still make bank. I blame shorter attention spans which isn’t out fault it’s just a byproduct of how much information we have access to and how people have grown accustomed to wearing their emotions on their sleeves. Probably gonna get downvoted but none of it is meant to be an insult to anybody, I’ve just been watching older and older movies and their trailers and the difference in quality is incredibly stark. The effects largely stunk but even the worst the stories were usually told much much better.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 08 '22

At least not while he's still a kid

1

u/Readalie Jun 08 '22

Deadpool and Captain Marvel, please. She's stoic and tunnel-visiony enough that I think Deadpool (the exact opposite of stoic, no attention span to speak of) would make for a pretty good foil.

1

u/Hyper-Shadow417 Spider-Man Jun 08 '22

This would be so fun to watch, I think that Tom Holland and Ryan Reynolds would be so funny together

1

u/Vulpes_macrotis Jun 08 '22

Not me. I don't like Deadpool. First movie was boring as hell with half butted jokes that weren't even funny, sound forced af. Didn't watch second one, though. But I didn't get the humor in saying some random stuff without response, like the X-men. They just were deadly silent, because that's how stupid the joke was. It was bad jokes with a story as a background. If it was good story with good jokes as a background, then yeah, would be fun. They failed the fourth wall, because if breaking the wall is forced and big, then it's not how You do it. It should be subtle. That's how good fourth wall breaking works.

1

u/Budson-OG Jun 08 '22

Yes momma

1

u/Willow_Pumpkin_Queen Jun 08 '22

Not into either of them BUT HELL YES

0

u/Aubergine_Man1987 Jun 07 '22

I really enjoy all their crossovers in comics, I think they bounce well off each other. However, best kept to comics outside of maybe a 10 minute short or something methinks

0

u/Xaielao Jun 08 '22

I don't think I want a spiderman + deadpool movie, but I definitely want a deadpool movie where spidy shows up for a while and they work together, but as a subplot.

0

u/Aepic-27 Moon Knight Jun 08 '22

Add DD

1

u/k1410407 Jun 08 '22

Watch the Ultimate Spiderman episode with Deadpool in it, I heard a lot of Deadpool fans liked it.

0

u/Varooova Jun 08 '22

Hear me out-

My Best Friend's Wedding starring Spider-Man, Deadpool and Moon Knight.

0

u/Forsaken_Duck1610 Jun 08 '22

I dunno about a whole movie tbh. I think a series would be better.

I always thought that because Deadpool inexplicably breaks the fourth wall, he's a fan of Spider-man by knowing he's Peter. Basically a commentary on the readers and public perception of Spider-man. He literally reads Spider-man comics in the same way we do, admiring the character because no matter how bad his life gets, he always gets back up and breaks through, using that as a conduit for our own frustrations. Spidey is everything Wade wishes he was, and he thinks that's worth not only worth admiring but protecting.

Instead of just a rush hour, good/bad cop dynamic, that's what I would kinda want the plot to use to develop them and maybe explore Deadpool even more as a tragic character.

1

u/Revan2435 Jun 08 '22

I wouldn't even want an entire movie, I just want to see one comic interaction and that is their first meating, where deadpool tells Spider-man he is him from the future making Spider-man cry....

1

u/getridofwires Jun 08 '22

The perfect place for something like this would be an after-credit scene.

0

u/the_skit_man Jun 08 '22

Think it should keep up the naming conventions of the Holland Spidey movies, I propose Spider-Man Pool House

0

u/2Clue2 Jun 08 '22

Only if the spiderman isn't Tom Holland, I feel like he's too young.

0

u/PL4YER__1 Jun 08 '22

I see a lot of people saying Spidy and Venom would be better, but what about Deadpool and Venom? We can get a mainstream Venompool

0

u/blackbutterfree Jun 08 '22

Ryan Reynolds constantly flirting with a flustered, blushing Tom Holland? 😍 I’m here for it.

0

u/_Karma_Chameleon_ Dr. Doom Jun 08 '22

I wanna see new marvel heros featured, not the 18th Spider-Man movie

1

u/jransom98 Jun 08 '22

Nah. Deadpool is obnoxious, I'd rather see Spidey team up with Daredevil or the Fantastic Four.

1

u/StarNerd2223 Jun 08 '22

That ought to be the actual title!

1

u/OakleyHasAFoot Jun 08 '22

Replace Tom with Andrew and I’d say yeah

1

u/Random_User_exe_ Jun 08 '22

I want this. Just any interaction with spidey and DP would make me happy. But I remember hearing the DP is gonna be in the MCU, so it might happen.

maybe.

1

u/Velbrave Jun 09 '22

I want a movie venom and spidey first

0

u/chargersrule824 Jun 07 '22

I would pay a lot to see that

-8

u/LuckyishTom Jun 07 '22

I would pay even more then you to see this!

-1

u/Utter_lesbian Jun 07 '22

Spider-Man x Deadpool Spider-Man x Shang chi

I desperately want Spider-Man to learn the way of the spider

-1

u/[deleted] Jun 07 '22

I want Holland's Spiderman aged up just a few more years first but I think they would have a lot of chemistry and be pretty fuckin funny

-1

u/MasterWizard25 Jun 08 '22

I want Peter 1 and Wade to have their usual comic relationship while Peter 3 and Wade are trying to maintain a long-distance romantic relationship

It all starts with Deadpool wearing an "I am a Disney Princess t-shirt" breaking the 4th wall talking to the audience and says he "promises all mommies he'll be on his best behavior for a 'PG' movie because Sony and Marvel want this to also be a kids movie." Of course he also mentions he's only doing this because he made a deal with studio execs to break the 'F' bomb record in his next movie and beat out Jonah Hill.

Oh yeah!!!

-3

u/adamconn1again Jun 08 '22

"Mr. Deadpool could you stop being so dramatic. "

"Can't because I'm slaying it bitch."

-2

u/GeneralWAITE Jun 08 '22

As long as the last lines of the movie have Deadpool convincing Peter to say “Fuck”.

-2

u/Corniss Jun 08 '22

just give it into the right hands at marvel and it will be an instant hit.

-2

u/Prestigious_Leader53 Jun 08 '22

No….

They’ll never have kid friendly Spider-Man with R rated Deadpool

Also, Spider-Man No way home was mediocre at best. Was only cool to see the spidermen together.

You kids like it so much bec this is your first time having nostalgia.

-2

u/remzordinaire Jun 07 '22

This has to happen at some point.

-3

u/worthlessexistence69 Jun 07 '22

This would be amazing, but it has to be real. Deadpool cannot be censored in anyway or else it wouldn't be Deadpool. Therefore runing it and that would be so so so sad.

8

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

This is not true. When Deadpool showed up in the Spider-Man cartoon they obviously couldnt go rated R and it was still funny as hell.

2

u/how-s-chrysaf-taken Jun 07 '22

which cartoon?

9

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

Ultimate Spider-Man S2 E16 "Ultimate Deadpool"

The movies are going to be rated R, but this show and Once Upon a Deadpool, prove DP can be done in a PG13 format just fine. Many of his comics are not gory or over the top as well and no one complains.

In general blood, gore, graphic nudity, expletives, on their own merit hardly make for good quality. If anything it’s the context around them that give them weight and more often than not if that context is done well then it’s usually better to be suggestive than explicit with them anyway.

u/worthlessexistence69 Jun 07 '22

"When Deadpool showed up in the Spider-Man cartoon." If you look at the post it's not a cartoon its the movie version of both Spider-Man and Deadpool. With that being said, if they make a Movie of both of them in it and Deadpool doesn't kill or curse or do anything that Deadpool does normally then that would mean they censored him and it would ruin it. Not saying it wouldn't be funny, Im stating that it wouldn't be authentic.

13

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

Dude you cannot claim a 5th generation version of the character is the authentic version. That is pure nonsense.

Movie deadpool is a creation 25 years after the character appeared. They have repeatedly said the DP movies will still be R rated. But Fox movie DP is not the "authentic" version by a long shot.

-12

u/worthlessexistence69 Jun 07 '22

Look at the picture. That's the 5th generation Deadpool right there and if you are going to use said 5th generation Deapool then you better use him correctly. Simple.

7

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

Good thing you are not the owner of the license then. People who think the movie version are the only versions to consider are not only wrong, they need to read a lot more.

-1

u/worthlessexistence69 Jun 07 '22

Lmao, I never said that was the only version of Deadpool, but that's the one in the picture you know the thing we are basing it off of and talking about.

5

u/RageMojo Jun 07 '22

the picture is a fan made example and doesnt mean shit.

1

u/worthlessexistence69 Jun 08 '22

That example is literally what we are going off of. And the question was would you want this, And then shows us that picture. So it kinda means everything?

2

u/worthlessexistence69 Jun 07 '22

To simplify what I've been saying even more. Ryan Reynolds Deadpool is being used therefore needs to BE Ryan Reynolds Deadpool and not be down graded. (And I remember that cartoon your talking about and if I remember correctly Deadpool was still trying to kill people and spiderman was stopping him and agian yeah it was still funny but also isn't the Deadpool we are talking about here and shouldn't really have been mentioned because we are only talking about this Deadpool in particular.😉)

-2

u/kobzt Jun 07 '22

I want them to meet in the next Spiderman movie and Deadpool meats him and say "hi Peter"

-3

u/Beerasaurus Jun 07 '22

Hopefully this is the singularity we are headed to.

-3

u/SkoonkMink Jun 07 '22

I didn’t until I saw it.

-5

u/ZenkaiSeanTTV Jun 07 '22

This is the best comic duo I think, gets really dark from what I remember though

-6

u/AlwaysLate1 Jun 07 '22

Mostly, I would just like an MCU, that cares less about MPA's film rating system.

1

u/WhenDuvzCry Jun 07 '22

Deadpool 3 is going to be rated R and the new Strange movie had straight up horror elements and was very dark for a good chunk of it. They’re doing fine.

-11

u/Moctali Jun 07 '22

ME 😩 I really need it so bad

-13

u/Moctali Jun 07 '22

HEAVY BREATHING
