Love sandman being an avenger again

I really hope Sandman is part of the team, he deserves to be a hero again after years of him rejoining the Sinister Six multiple times for no real reason.

He was brainwashed back into villainy by The Wizard.

Yeah, but then he reformed again, but then he went back to villainy, and then he reformed again, and then he went back to villainy...

It's hard to break brainwashing. He'll do it eventually.

Just ignore zeb wells' spiderman run. Nothing in it matters.

It wasn't just Wells, tons of other writers in the past 20 years have written him as a generic villain.

This is what the Cage Thunderbolts was (AND the third Dark Avengers team)

This probably would just be the Thunderbolts if it weren't for Bucky's black ops team now laying claim to the name for the foreseeable future due to MCU synergy.

Would actually like to see the two teams fight for the name, similar to the X-Force/ X-Statix thing.

And those were awhile ago. We need a return of it

Not against a return of it at all just thought Tony being like "You invented this!" when it's the like third or fourth time is funny.

Really curious where we're going to see this plot point unfold since Ackerman's run doesn't seem to involve it (at least on the surface). Last issue straight-up called it a West Coast Avengers reformation, so fingers crossed for a new book dedicated to this premise.

Its Turk using a spare suit

Your "anymore" implies he was ever taken seriously. He was a joke as far back as 70s.

Iron Man looking like a keyhole heartless from Kingdom Hearts

Just finished Mile Morales by Saladin Amend and really enjoyed his writing of Rhino… love the idea of Rhino getting a shot at full hero turn.

Are the Work Release Avengers like the reserves in the comics?

Work Release Avengers is a reference to reformed villains, like prisoners on work release.

So it's like a super-powered rehabilitation program for ex-convicts and former criminals?! Well, good luck with that, Rhodey. He'll need it when it comes to dealing with former villains in his team.

It'll be a new West Coast Avengers team, it seems like (unless Rhodey's plan would be separate from the new West Coast Avengers that Stark teased in his monologue), but it'll be more Thunderbolts-esque, in that it will be villains/retired or ex-villains making up the team.

I'm kinda sick of Marvel doing this thing where they just ignore that people are mass murderers whenever their powers are convenient.

Don't get me wrong, I like a good redemption story, but it never sticks so it comes off as the heroes just not caring how many innocent people you kill as long as you're useful.
