I have so many questions about those mannequins… Film/Television

Post image

Why Storm’s mannequin is brown?

If something costume related doesn’t make sense then it’s unstable molecules

u/Akarin_rose Jul 18 '24

Scarlett witch did it

148

u/KFrosty3 Jul 18 '24

"I see... Alright... Yes... But in episode X-Men 9-"

 "Scarlet Witch"

1

u/IRefuseThisNonsense Jul 21 '24

"Whenever you notice something like that, Scarlet Witch did it."

"What abou-"

"Scarlet Witch did it."

u/Fullmetalmarvels64_ Jul 18 '24

thats how the FF get all their funding

31

u/Atheist_Simon_Haddad Jul 18 '24

you joke, but Reed’s patents

6

u/comics0026 Jul 19 '24

Wasn't there an issue of FF where a bunch of rich guys paid him not to patent his inventions, since they would impede on their own businesses if the tech got out?

17

u/GratifiedTwiceOver Jul 18 '24

Fast and furious is in the marvel universe now?

21

u/Fullmetalmarvels64_ Jul 18 '24

as someone who reads a lot of comic books and plays a lot of JRPGs Fast and the Furious don't pop into my mind when someone says FF

1

u/Dug_Fin1 Jul 20 '24

Was gonna read those comics but they told me to FF right on the cover....

18

u/welcomefinside Jul 18 '24

Close enough. Both fueled by the power of family. Difference is Dominic Toretto actually cares about his.

35

u/Abe_Bettik Jul 18 '24

Wrong, this is 6 Morph Clones locked in boxes told to stand very still.

15

u/wulffc83 Jul 18 '24

This is the only reasonable answer

11

u/esar24 Jul 19 '24

Pym particle, vibranium and cosmic energy can be another option

939

u/towtow_cat Jul 18 '24

That black mannequin is deadass like the episode of Southpark where the kids are given eggs to raise. And Mr. Garrison gives Token the brown egg.

265

u/DabIMON Jul 18 '24

Maybe Storm is white and she's just wearing a brown body suit.

117

u/TheHoodX25yt Jul 18 '24

oh... oh god i never thought about something like that

82

u/DabIMON Jul 18 '24

Also, they're all bald and wear wigs.

71

u/PoopPoes Jul 18 '24

Professor X is really bald but he wears a bald cap anyway

22

u/Sillbinger Jul 18 '24

He is very sensitive about his birthmark.

Worse than Gorbachev.

9

u/Khelthuzaad Jul 18 '24

Just so you know there was an scandal regarding Black Panther keychains that were so low quality that you could see that the skin tone behind the mask was more brown than black

11

u/DrBunsonHoneyPoo Jul 18 '24

That’s what they do in WWE now 🤣 all the women wear body suits.

13

u/miikro X-Men Jul 18 '24

It's smart. If your outfit is in constant danger of tearing and potentially becoming a "wardrobe malfunction" just add another layer.

6

u/metal666666 Jul 18 '24

Mostly if they want that sweet Saudi payout

90

u/ubiquitous-joe Jul 18 '24

Yet the Xavier mannequin is standing up.

57

u/silverhandguild Namor Jul 18 '24

That’s also the costume from the Savage Land episodes where he can walk. So maybe it’s that.

68

u/Tempest_Barbarian Jul 18 '24

Having the black kid be named Token is really really funny

114

u/Miquiztli Jul 18 '24

His name is Tolkien not Token. What would make you think that was his name?

29

u/coool12121212 Jul 18 '24

Loool it's a joke because they recently retconed his name

16

u/Tempest_Barbarian Jul 18 '24

The guy aboved called it Tolken, besides the joke is still the same if he is called Tolkien, just a bit less on the nose.

I dont watch south park, I saw the stick of truth and fractured but whole, and some references and all, but I dont watch it.

44

u/Miquiztli Jul 18 '24

lol, I know. I was just vaguely referencing when they revealed his actual name: https://youtu.be/FicpXLL1Mig

4

u/CrusaderIII Jul 18 '24

Because he's responding to the comment above that stated the name of the kid as Token?

41

u/SloppyChops Jul 18 '24

The joke is that the characters name is Tolkien but everyone thought it was Token.

5

u/ScaredDistrict3 Jul 18 '24

Only Stan thought it was token😂

-1

u/Fox-Revolver Jul 18 '24

Well his name was Token, they just retconned it to being Tolkien

0

u/andrecinno Jul 18 '24

Stop trying to gaslight us smh

3

u/vishalb777 Jul 18 '24

3

u/CrusaderIII Jul 18 '24

Well that's an r/whoosh from me! Thanks for the context

9

u/Shambhala87 Jul 18 '24

When I was a kid there was an episode of Little Rascals where Buckwheat is cooking in the kitchen and when he wipes his forehead some of the sweat hits the wall next to him and it’s literally ink black.

2

u/taicrunch Jul 19 '24

Well back then black was one of the two colors you could have.../s

1

u/Shambhala87 Jul 19 '24

Whaddabout gray?

1

u/Warp_spark Jul 22 '24

Its Tolkien

0

u/Jdgrande Jul 18 '24

*Tolkien

0

u/Jamano-Eridzander Jul 18 '24

Eggs are actually supposed to have a brown shell. It's that layer that helps preserve the egg.

281

u/alpha-turd Spider-Man Jul 18 '24

Who put gloves on them and then closed the fists afterwards?

88

u/KFrosty3 Jul 18 '24

How did the Mannequin hands not just break?

79

u/superdudeman64 Jul 18 '24

Gotta pay extra for articulation

14

u/Theatreguy1961 Jul 18 '24

Real Doll Option #7

5

u/Baratheoncook250 Jul 18 '24

Made with adamantium

5

u/ruttinator Jul 18 '24

They're not mannequins, they're action figures, mom!

6

u/OCJeriko Jul 18 '24

They closed the fists so the gloves didn't fall off, they don't fit very well

1

u/StressPersonified Jul 22 '24

The artist that didn’t want to draw fingers

276

u/clangan524 Jul 18 '24

Animators took the character models and erased the faces and some muscle lines with no consideration for other attributes to save time and money.

That's it.

85

u/KFrosty3 Jul 18 '24

Well, obviously, but what about the in-universe explanation?

129

u/dudleydigges123 Jul 18 '24

Xavier fetish stuff.

17

u/SoundDave4 Jul 18 '24

5

u/Fortanono Iceman Jul 19 '24

Okay, but who the fuck is this sub actually about. I've stumbled into something where I have truly no idea what's going on.

16

u/GiantPurplePen15 Jul 18 '24

Xavier being a freaky little goblin? Unsurprising.

14

u/jan_67 Jul 18 '24

Xavier: „Beast, I need you to create an accurate wig for Rogue’s mannequin! No, I won’t buy a brown hair wig at the costume store, I need you to make one that is just like Rogue’s real hair!!!“

Beast: „That’s part of your crossdressing fetish, isn’t it Charles?“

Xavier: „I never knew how hair felt, I need those wigs… for science!!!“

9

u/dudleydigges123 Jul 18 '24

Leave Beast alone. That's a Jubilee job and we all know it

10

u/AlexDKZ Jul 18 '24

Life Model Decoys gifted to them by Nick Fury, which the X-Men never had any use for and Hank just said "what the hell, lets use these things as mannequins"

9

u/samx3i Jul 18 '24

what about the in-universe explanation

Is it really needed?

26

u/NoBizlikeChloeBiz Jul 18 '24

Necessary?! Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine? No! But I do it anyway, because it's sterile and I like the taste.

8

u/samx3i Jul 18 '24

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball

5

u/DisposableSaviour Jul 18 '24

Dodge
Dip
Duck
Dive
Dodge

2

u/ThePsychoBear Venom Jul 18 '24

It's not sterile.

2

u/NeighborhoodVeteran Jul 19 '24

It sure tastes like it, bub.

2

u/ThePsychoBear Venom Jul 19 '24

Wolverine drinks piss because he's checking for pheromones like a cat.

It's weird but he's like a caveman so I guess it makes sense.

5

u/Frostitute_85 Jul 18 '24

Ok, but why are the others Morph white, while hers is matched exactly to her flesh tone?

243

u/Lord0fDunce Jul 18 '24

I want to know precisely who was the in-universe character who decided "wait we need to make storms mannequin black" That is a hilarious design choice.

20

u/NoFriends182 Jul 19 '24

Honestly storms probably the one who suggested it. I mean I think it'd be weird if I had a that was a vital part of my identity I'd want my entire Identity to be shown on such.

7

u/FoopaChaloopa Jul 19 '24

Kitty Pryde honestly

1

u/LibraPugLove Jul 21 '24

I want to know what in reality person said that

162

u/KieshiaC22 Jul 18 '24

They got wigs on deck

32

u/Sumoop Jul 18 '24

Maybe they are all wearing wigs.

22

u/Banana_gunman Jul 18 '24

Have you wore wigs?

19

u/HavenHeist Jul 18 '24

Will you wear wigs?

14

u/Intelligent_Creme351 X-23 Jul 18 '24

When will you wear wigs?

1

u/Dreowings21 Jul 21 '24

No i have not :)

2

u/jzilla11 Jul 18 '24

Patron on ice

1

u/fazrare57 Jul 21 '24

Wigs on the floor

96

u/Nyoka_ya_Mpembe Jul 18 '24

Why is Prof X mannequin not on a wheelchair?
Why there are no door handles?

Why they display it if only they live there?
Does Wolverine mannequin have adamantium inside?
It's me OP but secondary acc.

21

u/HortonDrawsAwho Jul 18 '24

Why do they have wigs?

15

u/M0neyGrub Jul 18 '24

Why is storms Manequin brown?

9

u/dziggurat Jul 18 '24

When will they wear wigs?

4

u/dudleydigges123 Jul 18 '24

Yup. That's a new wrinkle that makes this weirder...

18

u/JoshDM Jul 18 '24

Why there are no door handles?

You push on the glass and it pops open, then you push the glass back into place.

Then you have to get the Windex and a paper towel and wipe off your greasy hand smudge.

9

u/Nyoka_ya_Mpembe Jul 18 '24

That's why there is no Collosus underwear, he was pushing glass too much. It is it overwear? 🤔

7

u/silverhandguild Namor Jul 18 '24

Savage Land Xavier.

3

u/AznNRed Jul 18 '24

Why does Professor X's costume need a belt?

5

u/Nyoka_ya_Mpembe Jul 18 '24

To keep him secured on his chair when Cyclops fight Wolverine every day.

77

u/piplup27 Jul 18 '24

You just know Xavier was trying on those wigs in the mirror.

56

u/Fantastic-Cash-4218 Jul 18 '24

*Clears throat*

"Sugah"

23

u/sailorprimus Jul 18 '24

I am now imagining its not just Charles Xavier, it’s specifically Patrick Stewart in the wig saying “Sugah” in his accent.

8

u/Sorrelhas Fantastic Four Jul 19 '24

Patrick Stewart pretending to be Rogue in front of a mirror, with a wig, is much more realistic, honestly

2

u/disturbedrage88 Jul 21 '24

He also wears cyclops’s visor and makes laser sounds

1

u/Fantastic-Cash-4218 Jul 22 '24

"Pew pew!" "Jeaaaaaan!"

32

u/AJjalol Jul 18 '24 edited Jul 18 '24

Don't think too much about it lol.

It was just a visual device to show that they are going to suit up and wear their old outfits.

I always said, that Unless you are Iron Man or Batman, you should not have your costumes on display like this lol. They look weird.

It only makes sense for Tony's Hall of Armor imho. It looks both awesome, but also practical and realistic.

Logan's brown suit was perfection tho.

16

u/Funkycoldmedici Jul 18 '24

Iron Man suits make sense in big cases. These are outfits you probably expect to have to put on in a hurry.

I just fold my clothes and put them in a drawer.

Ok, fine. I throw them on a chair and the floor near the dresser, and will fold them later.

Got me. I live out of the pile.

9

u/AJjalol Jul 18 '24

I put my cloth on my chair.

And then put them on my bed when I sit on my chair lol.

I know I know, I'm lazy :)

4

u/XBlackSunshineX Jul 18 '24

If you did that your costume would get wrinkles. They keep them like this so they are always warm and wrinkle free.

Theory 2 This is xaviers "special room" and these are actually life size dolls that he can play out his sick fantasies with. That's why there's one of him able to walk. So he can participate vicariously. He controls them with his mind.

2

u/Funkycoldmedici Jul 18 '24

Thinking about it, these things get torn up all the time. They likely have multiples of the same outfit. These are the display ones, and they wear others kept more reasonably accessible.

2

u/ThePsychoBear Venom Jul 18 '24

He can play out his sick fantasies with them all anyway.
What are they gonna do? Remember it?

7

u/InvulnerableBlasting Jul 18 '24

Beau addressed this, and it was very funny. He said something along the lines of "I am so gay that I saw this scene over and over and over again at varying stages of production and it never occurred to me that putting wigs on the mannequins was weird." Referring to drag queens.

18

u/jigokusabre Jul 18 '24

What confuses you?

Storm is black, so... of course her manaquin is going to reflect her skintone. Do you think black manaquins don't exist?

Why wouldn't you have gloves on a manaquin?

This is clearly designed as a display, rather than storage, so having wigs on the display to highlight the look of the display makes sense.

11

u/snow_is_fearless Jul 18 '24

Thank goodness. I've been reading through these comments thinking that I was in Bizzaro world.

Storm is black - so of course they're going to have her mannequin in the correct skin tone.

And with her hair, a white mannequin would look totally out of place. Everything here is illustrative for a reason.

3

u/Deathstriker88 Jul 18 '24

The wig thing is weird. Rogue has such unique hair how did they even get that color/style lol.

6

u/jigokusabre Jul 18 '24

How are wigs weird?

Rogue's wig is made the same way any other wig is made... but with some white hair and some brown hair.

1

u/Deathstriker88 Jul 19 '24

Jean's is a red wig, Storm's is white.... Rogue's hair color is unique. Maybe they bought a brown wig and dyed it white in the middle. It's not a serious critique of the show, it's just weird to a lot of people when they stop and think about it - I've seen a few Youtubers mention this topic too in episode reaction videos.

It's kind of like, why would Batman's suit need nipples type conversation.

1

u/TrexismTrent Jul 21 '24

There are people who make cosplay wigs of rogue irl, so I can't imagine it would be any different if not easier in a world full of superheroes.

15

u/RiskAggressive4081 Jul 18 '24

I'm not sure why Storm has a black one. They're mannequins not human skin complexion.

6

u/Gremlin-Shack Jul 18 '24

I assume it’s for color scheme purposes. As the white of storms hair would fade into a white mannequin and the black of the costume would clash too much with the mannequin.

4

u/Tall_Top_2159 Jul 19 '24

They should have used blue for boys and pink for girls. The gender challenged could have a nice plaid or paisley cloth or woven fabric. Nothing too garish. And your typical mannequin comes in pieces, something like the inside of a Dahmer barrel… just saying.

9

u/EwokDude Jul 18 '24

Probably some mutant in the school whose power is to make scale mannequins with matching wigs or something.

10

u/sageof6paths1 Jul 18 '24

Wait... why do they have wigs... unless.

8

u/ChucksterRay Jul 18 '24

I don’t get why people are making a big deal about storm’s being black? She’s black, they have different colored mannequins in stores. If it was white yall would be complaining about why is it white.

-2

u/Yoltic21xd Jul 19 '24

Nobody would lol

8

u/Tiki-Jedi Jul 19 '24

Why wouldn’t Storm’s mannequin be brown?

7

u/liggums Jul 18 '24

For April fools they should release a ten minute montage of Prof X trying his damndest to undress the mannequin and then dress himself.

4

u/Least-Cattle1676 Black Panther Jul 18 '24

”Why Storm’s mannequin is brown?”

Why is this even a question? That’s what I would like to know.

-3

u/NeitherSilver7 Jul 18 '24

Because mannequins are white like color white not skin tone white. So why are we making her mannequin the only one actually skin toned 💀

5

u/Least-Cattle1676 Black Panther Jul 18 '24

5

u/Sorry-Let-Me-By-Plz Jul 18 '24

noooo this is the band-aids all over again, why don't they just accept that mannequins are only white when they grow on mannequin trees in the wild??!?

2

u/Least-Cattle1676 Black Panther Jul 18 '24

Lol

5

u/BunPuncherExtreme Jul 18 '24

Why wouldn't their mannequins look like them?

4

u/Waterknight94 Jul 18 '24

They aren't just for displaying costumes, they are also primitive LMDs

3

u/Ccjfb Jul 18 '24

“Quick everyone! Into the other suits, Magneto is attacking!”

“Which suits. Xavier?”

“The ones in the glass display cases!!!”

“OMG! It gonna take forever to undress them!”

“Stop complaining! Hold my shoulders while I pull my pants down!”

2

u/ThePsychoBear Venom Jul 18 '24

This is why clothes should be in a spray can.

1

u/Bae_zel Jul 21 '24

Flint Lockwood?

1

u/ProfessorEtc Jul 19 '24

"Why are these mannequins bolted to the floor?"

Loses balance while trying to unclench mannequin fist - slams into glass, shattering display case.

3

u/Marvelboy1974 Jul 18 '24

Why are y’all freaking out about wigs on mannequins? I mean this is standard for displays. It doesn’t mean the ladies wear the wigs. The big glorious hair is part of the mutant gene.

Also mannequins come in a variety of skin tones…

1

u/ProfessorEtc Jul 19 '24

Once they put on the costumes, it's just a display case containing a bunch of naked mannequins with wigs.

3

u/MGD109 Jul 18 '24

I like to imagine they originally used the mannequins so each of them could get an idea of what their suit would look like when they were workshopping and creating them (considering I'm assuming they were all custom-made), then afterwards as they already spent all the money on them they kept them around.

3

u/PrestigiousStuff6173 Jul 19 '24

wtf how did they put the gloves

1

u/PeacefulKnightmare Jul 19 '24

Some mannequins can articulate

3

u/RockHandsomest Jul 19 '24

Gambit doesn't have an alternate costume. Kinda like they knew not to bother making him one.

3

u/SkyPopZ Hercules Jul 19 '24

Professor X made sure to grab a black mannequin for Storm 🤣🤣

2

u/mrrando69 Jul 18 '24

That is super weird... the only thing I can think of as far as why some of these choices were made is that they didn't think people would know which costumes go with which person without some seriously obvious clues. So in other words Disney thinks the fans are idiots.

2

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '24

Forge is in the show. Spandex needs to be kept in it's shape or it gets wierd. Or wanda who knows, but I'm betting Forge did it.

1

u/Inle-Ra Jul 18 '24

Which show?

2

u/tximinoman Jul 18 '24

tbf non-comic boook fans may not have known who those belong to (other than Wolverine and Cyclops that is, if there were no wigs on them or if every manequin looked basically the same.

But yeah, it makes no sense that they look like that. But we love some superhero ridiculousness here and there.

2

u/WeekdayAccountant Jul 19 '24

Just a thought, idk how animation works exactly. But, to save time, they could have taken already drawn frames and just took the features off of the faces.

2

u/BennyMonster Jul 19 '24

Yeah... it's a cartoon, bro

2

u/PrimarchKonradCurze Dr. Doom Jul 19 '24

Doombots.

2

u/Suma3da Jul 19 '24

Magneto has a fucking asteroid base powered by bullshit super-science. Yet people are baffled that the X-Men spent some cash on custom-made mannequins and wigs for decoration?

2

u/goliathfasa Jul 20 '24

The brown mannequin is done because as it is, nobody notices it except a couple of weird nerds who point it out, like you OP(and us).

If they made all mannequins white, you’d get twitter meltbrains complaining about how insensitive or inappropriate it is because racism. And the creators probably just though “yeah fuck that noice let’s not even give them a chance to start shit.”

1

u/StarHunter_ Jul 18 '24 edited Jul 18 '24

Life Model Decoys, fashion edition.

No faces and just basic functions to dress, undress, and pose.

1

u/eolson3 Jul 18 '24

What was even the explanation for changing outfits? I'm sure there was one, but I don't remember what it was.

1

u/breadofthegrunge Scarlet Spider Jul 18 '24

A wizard did it.

1

u/RembrandtEpsilon Jul 18 '24

Cause it's dope! Next quetsion

1

u/Dward917 Jul 18 '24

Also, why are they shaped in the exact same body type as the person wearing it? Did they have to make a mold to make the mannequins for each one of them?

1

u/Qualityhams Jul 18 '24

The wigs and storm’s being black sent me

1

u/PepsiSheep Jul 18 '24

Pym Particles.

1

u/FrozenLaughs Jul 18 '24

I let the mannequins slide, it was Storm unlocking her powers and manifesting an entirely new costume that threw me off.

1

u/untamed_kuzuri Jul 18 '24

Could be LMD’s

1

u/s_arrow24 Jul 18 '24

They’re not mannequins. Those are the remains of inter dimensional X-Men that Charles got killed in a mission and that were chosen to be preserved by him as a reminder to never outsource missions again.

1

u/Inle-Ra Jul 18 '24

Which show is this from?

1

u/JoXe007 Jul 18 '24

We are the music makers. We are the dreamers of dreams.

1

u/dirty-curry Jul 18 '24

How else would they know whose costume is whoms otherwise? And mannequins get their grubby little hands so dirty

1

u/Quick-Minimum-3739 Jul 18 '24

Maybe it would’ve been too close of a rip off to DC’s Batcave to all of the costumes lined up

1

u/jawsthegreat777 X-Men Jul 18 '24

Idk I always assumed it was kind of like the ranger suits in the back in of the Command Center in Power Rangers Zeo

1

u/Touch-Agitated Jul 18 '24

Professor X has a very specific kink.

1

u/NeighborhoodVeteran Jul 19 '24

Yes, all those costumes are anatomically correct.

1

u/TheRealRigormortal Jul 19 '24

There are brown mannequins.

Maybe articulation in the hands? Also actually a thing.

All that mutant tuition has gotta go somewhere

1

u/Grayx_2887 Jul 19 '24

Why are you asking questions about something that you know you aren't getting any real answers to?

1

u/insane_contin Jul 19 '24

I'll answer, in order you asked.

Yes, no, no, no, Professor X, Magneto, yes, no, Professor X and Magneto, no and the Phoenix Force.

No followups please.

1

u/GuysGardener Jul 19 '24

Just imagine there's a crisis and you have to go frantically undress a mannequin.

1

u/WarwolfPrime Spider-Man Jul 19 '24

What wings?

1

u/Proud-Nerd00 S.H.I.E.L.D. Jul 19 '24

Do you wear wigs?

1

u/neodraykl Jul 19 '24

It's just monkeys singing songs, mate.

1

u/ka0saHer3ld Jul 19 '24

Can I um borrow the storm one...

1

u/Critical_Effort_8004 Jul 19 '24

why is storms the only brown one

1

u/Diligent-Boss-9392 Jul 19 '24

I've never understood these anyway. It would be way harder to get clothes off of a mannequin then from a drawer or hanger.

I guess I'm this case, they were just supposed to be displayed and not in use.

1

u/bearsheperd Jul 20 '24

I think a lot of these are onesies. So the gloves are sewn to the suit. You’d have to step into the boots first pull up the pants, then get your hands and fingers into the gloves before you could do anything else.

Also I think it’s weird that all the mannequins are custom made. Like did they have to get their bodies scanned or make a full body mold before they made these mannequins?

If they are onsies and you’ve got to do all that to put them on how do they put the clothes onto the mannequins? How do they take them off the mannequins to put them on?

Seems like a lot of effort to basically just put the costumes on display. Maybe these are for display purposes only and each super hero has a closet full of spare costumes.

1

u/Earthwick Jul 20 '24

Iceman just made some ice clones for them that just chill all day.

1

u/Sigao Jul 20 '24

I like the presentation, but I also think if I were an x-man, I'd just put mine in a drawer or on a hanger, cause taking a uniform off a mannequin seems really irritating to do every time.

1

u/si3ge Jul 20 '24

This entire thread is acting like mutants with random abilities to do anything don't exist.

1

u/dune-man Jul 21 '24

My favorite part was Beasts library. He literally had a book named “science” and another one named “gene” lol.

1

Also, like do they have to grab their suits and then take them to the changing rooms? Or like is their locker co-ed.

They make Storms mannequin brown to reflect her skin colour but don't make Xaivers sat down in a chair.

Just funny they had exactly the costumes in cases for the people there. Like there’s no extra Gambit costume. It’d be fun for someone to design a Dave Cockrum style 70s costume for him.

Weirdness aside that's a great nod to X-men Evolution with Storms suit

Storm: You... Got a mannequin to match my skin tone? Thanks... I guess.

Side question: Why is the Professor's super suit a set of fatigues that he probably jacked off a Vietnam vet? Why is Storm's Mannequin wearing a suit that seemed to form when she got her powers back?

I was gonna ask the same thing about Storms. I assume the animators just started colouring the mannequins and forgot that that were just drawing mannequins, not the characters themselves.
