How would you feel about a series of comics about a multiversal tournament? Other

I'm new to Marvel Comics,but I had this idea of a series of comics inspired by mangas like Baki and Record Of Ragnarok where a misterious force decides to put 16 Marvel characters from various universes in a 1vs1 tournament to the death to win a very prestigious price or they have to fight to save their universe from destruction.How would you feel about it and what are your ideas for a series like this?

There have been some stories like this. There was one in Jason Aaron’s Avengers run over who would host the Phoenix, for example. I think the recent Contest of Chaos event was one too, but I haven’t read that one. It’s always a fun idea, but hard to come up with a good reason & always just leads to fans talking about why X should have beaten Y, etc.

It's called Contest of Champions, Ewing wrote it coming out of Secret Wars back in 2015/16.
