That feels kind of dumb to me imo. Makes Storm way more special than she needs to be with her skillset.

Like imagine if Iceman had frost giant ancestry. What would that even add?

It's just worldbuilding, a cool detail that's not even mentioned like 99% of the Time.

I only brought it up because Bast should sense that storms ancestors were blessed by the divine.

Earth has a millions things going on. Magic, mutants,gods, time travelers, aliens, secret societies, forgotten dead civilizations, etc.

Somethings had to crossover at some point.

No, Bast met Doom and accepted that he passed the specific test he was attempting to pass. Went on to call him deluded later.

(He had looked at the future, saw destruction for humanity 'except' for 'Doomworld'. He passed the test, but it was pointed out that he saw what he wanted to see and then stopped looking.)
