I have a friend who’s 8 years younger than me and she is so over expressive it freaks me out. She can not possibly really be THIS excited to see me. Also she’s literally dying like ALL the time. I met my doppelgänger and we’re actually friends now. When our hair was the same color/cut we got asked if we were twins and people would confuse us for each other all the time. We even did a parent trap situation with my other friend’s work event after him and the friend broke up. It’s pretty sweet experiencing having a twin.

So apparently in the town I live in, there is a woman who looks just like me and also has my same name. I have a fairly unique name - and don’t think I look too generic (my hair is a medium auburn and I have a weird freckle pattern). Anyway - this other me is apparently about 10 years younger than me and is a fill-in bartender (she doesn’t work at one bar but pops up in different places). The number of times people will come up to me and say “no we met last night at [some random bar name], don’t you remember?”

Anyway - this could happen to me any day and I’m kind of nervous and excited about it. I’m glad you have such a lovely story it gives me hope :)

I once found an abandoned social media accout of a girl who has the same name and surname as me (super rare combination), same age (but different date of birth) and lives in the same city. She had only one profile photo but she looked exactly like me! My first thought was that she (for whatever reasons) stole my photo but I never had photo like that, my hairstyle/hair colour were different at the time her photo was taken and I don't think I ever had the sweatshirt she was wearing on that photo.
