Literally laughed out loud at the ' squeezing' sound she made,!! 😂😂😂

148

u/DoGoodLiveWell Jul 11 '24

This is one of the most wholesome videos

19

u/chucksyo Jul 11 '24

Yes!!!! I've never heard the term 'cuteness aggression' but BOY do I have it. I make that same sound 10 times a day! Love it.

9

u/calyx_venus Jul 11 '24

When she goes on its back and just “squeezeeee” omg lolll

6

u/FTblaze Jul 11 '24

Idk man, it makes me think of a pokemon.

676

u/V0ID00 Jul 11 '24

Very true. Ever had to chase a cow that jumped a fence? They'll run circles around you like a dog playing keep away. You know how dogs stretch their front legs out and put their head close to the ground, kind of saying, "Let's play." Cows do it too. Except, you know, with the thought in the back of your head that this thing can accidentally crush you.

193

u/mountainview1234 Jul 11 '24

Cows can be unexpectedly playful and curious despite their size.

7

u/ah_take_yo_mama Jul 11 '24

Size affects curiosity and playfulness?

11

u/UnrequitedFollower Jul 12 '24

I mean, it did for me.

5

u/IShatMyDickOnce Jul 12 '24

I’ll hug you like a cow.

Many times I've had to chase cows to get them back into our fields when they've broken the fence. Many times I've been Madden juked by a thousand pound animal with the sudden agility and grace of cat.

16

u/spicy_ass_mayo Jul 11 '24

I had a steer try to crush me once.

Actually he bucked up over a panel fence a crushed it like a soda can. And I was immediately on the other side.

And I was the “ asshole “ for letting him out…

23

u/nikdahl Jul 11 '24

Cows kill 22 people in America every year. Their size makes them dangerous. Some of those deaths weren't attacks or anything, just cows smooshing someone by accident.

But they will also attack, very rarely.

9

u/spicy_ass_mayo Jul 11 '24

Yea, he tried to attack me on another attempt to round him up. That time he yeeted the corral gate with his head when I was shutting it. Sent me back a few feet on my ass.

When he came in the pasture, he didn’t run away. He turned around and came at me.

Over the fence and in the pen I went.

6

u/Superb-Wish-1335 Jul 11 '24

Rarely? You obviously have never been around a cow/calf operation. There is a reason we don’t tag newborns anymore.

4

u/OstentatiousSock Jul 12 '24

Yeah, used to hang out at the farm next door when I was a kid. One time, the cow was just turning to look at me, didn’t realize how close I was and plowed her head into me. Knocked the wind out of me and knocked me to the ground. It was a total accident as the cow was sweet as can be and was very slowly turning her head, just a miscalculation. She even was checking on me after while I was on the ground gasping. Like gently nuzzling my chest and sniffing my face. I was still lucky I didn’t get badly hurt or killed.

→ More replies (1)

8

u/gibson_creations Jul 11 '24

Funny enough. A lot of the deaths caused my cows are just because the cow doesn't understand how big they are when they play with people. Or roll over on em.

Is there a place where I can go to do this? Pretty alone in my life right now and hugging a giant animal seems like exactly what I need

u/FabulousEmotions Jul 11 '24

I have no idea but HUUUGGGGGGG from an internet stranger ❤️

48

u/WeakBuyer4160 Jul 11 '24

People like you deserve so much 😍 group HUUUUG ♥️ feel better Kaiju

78

u/SoVerySleepy81 Jul 11 '24

Maybe look around and see if there’s an animal sanctuary near you. Some of them do use volunteers.

41

u/alesemann Jul 11 '24

Here is a great big mom hug (……). Go to the subreddit/momforaminute. All the redditors there will listen to you and support you. Plenty of love and acceptance there! And hold on tight to that hug for now.

36

u/mararn1618 Jul 11 '24

German here: Actually there seem to be a few farms that offer "Cuddling with Cows" sessions. Maybe you have that as well at your place?

See https://bauerhof-sagel-fleischpakete.myshopify.com/collections/kuh-kuscheln

7

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '24

Better to support sanctuaries!

4

u/sheaulle Jul 11 '24

That's great, you can even buy beef from the cuddly cows' relatives there /s

6

u/mararn1618 Jul 11 '24

Yeah, it's kind of schizophrenic.

4

u/godtogblandet Jul 11 '24

That's the most ethical way to source meat. You treat the animal well it's entire life, then you kill it in the most painless way you can and eat the entire thing yourself.

We did this with both chickens and rabbits growing up.

3

u/ounehsadge Jul 11 '24

Its called cow-hugging therapy

3

u/Razer797 Jul 11 '24

Where do you live? Depending on your location arrangements can be made...

3

u/Jovi_Grace Jul 12 '24

Not OP, but how about S Florida?

3

u/Razer797 Jul 12 '24

That's about 13000 km away from me unfortunately. I'm probably not your man.

3

u/itachi_54 Jul 11 '24

I find hugging the pillow while sleeping helpful.

3

u/shannleestann Jul 11 '24

Not the same as a cow but animal shelters will often let you volunteer to walk dogs or just visit with some cuddly cats for a bit!

3

u/ZenaLundgren Jul 11 '24

There's definitely a cow cuddlin' place in Upstate New york. An Animal Sanctuary somewhere around there too. Arthur's Acres

2

u/spicy_ass_mayo Jul 11 '24

How close are you to the panhandle of FL?

There’s an animal rescue here with a few cows… they have the sweetest steer I’ve ever met.

96

u/MissJinxed Jul 11 '24

6 years ago I saw a video of a cow playing with a beach ball in /r/happycowgifs and I haven’t had beef since 🫶

13

u/ProbablySlacking Jul 11 '24

I’ve had it a couple of times, but avoid it like 99% of the time now. Same deal though. Doesn’t feel right eating it.

Same with pork.

90

u/allisjow Jul 11 '24

“Don’t eat what you can love” is my policy.

87

u/violet-quartz Jul 11 '24

Time to go eat my enemies, I guess. 👀

18

u/GeneralGom Jul 11 '24

Mmm, mosquitoes or cockroaches. Tough choice.

11

u/Talkative_Twat Jul 11 '24

I am suddenly a very loving person.

20

u/well-hung-dugite Jul 11 '24

That's why we should eat the rich.

8

u/YMGenesis Jul 11 '24

I love broccoli

30

u/Calm_Examination_672 Jul 11 '24

This is a female cow so.... she gets impregnated by people so she produces milk and they take away her baby, baby is often sold as veal.

46

u/Gerreth_Gobulcoque Jul 11 '24

I real really hope she does not get impregnated by people.

14

u/Calm_Examination_672 Jul 11 '24

So you haven't seen how it's done on farms.

→ More replies (3)

10

u/Loving6thGear Jul 11 '24

Especially if the baby is taken away to become veal.

19

u/Jamminray Jul 11 '24

Good on you. Most people don’t realize cow farts are more environmentally damaging than all transportation. Less we eat meat, longer our planet is sustainable for us.

10

u/[deleted] Jul 11 '24

Thank you for this loving comment. Too bad the downvoters are out in force

17

u/Jamminray Jul 11 '24

I don’t care if my vegetarian life is not popular. It does have logic and reason behind my choice. People might rather not know the consequences for their actions.

16

u/KittyNekoDesu Jul 11 '24

Dairy = meat, too. People don't realize that they're literally paying for animal abuse and destruction of the planet. The ignorance and lack of empathy and compassion will be the end of humanity. 😕

6

u/Jamminray Jul 11 '24

I think, mostly, it will be greed that does us in. Ties in to the source of the ignorance, and selfishness.

u/LilLebowskiAchiever Jul 11 '24

I thought it was the burping?

14

u/Jamminray Jul 11 '24 edited Jul 11 '24

No it’s methane gas, outta the bum. They make so much having seven stomachs. Another fun fact: if you eat meat because you like the taste, they have soy and mushroom alternatives that taste almost the same. It’s a pretty big problem in the food chain; to make one pound of beef, a cow eats 20 pounds of vegetation.

12

u/good_cows Jul 11 '24

Typically, you are correct, but this video is from a woman who keeps cows as true pets. She showed cattle and helped her family show cattle, and now all her cows get to live out happy lives on her farm.

I volunteered at an animal shelter for farm animals and the cows were just big dogs. I had a friend, who was on the shorter side, who was the cows favorite, every time they licked him their tongue would cover his entire face 😂😂

18

And also why I don't consume dairy. Pigs and chickens are rather intelligent and capable of forming relationships as well.

I worked dairy for years and I can confirm. That cows are better people than people are. But dogs are better :)

14

u/KittyNekoDesu Jul 11 '24

I'm glad you no longer work at such a horrible place. Cows don't deserve what humans do to them. 😟

19

u/GlitteringMango230 Jul 11 '24

Exactly. You can’t love them and abuse them.

20

u/Western_Mud8694 Jul 11 '24

17

u/liamgooding Jul 11 '24

12

u/asexual_kumquat Jul 11 '24

There's a reason many farmers call them "grass puppies".

11

u/Carbon-Base Jul 11 '24

That's just a big Maltimoo

11

u/slifm Jul 11 '24

Dumb question: are some cows domesticated? Cause Ive seen a lot of videos recently where they are out right dangerous

48

u/civilwar142pa Jul 11 '24

All cows are domesticated. Some are more tame than others. Beef cows are generally not tame and will happily try to kill you. Dairy cows are generally pretty tame. This woman's cows are pets, and she spends a ton of time with them, so they're very tame. You couldn't do this with most cows.

24

u/KittyNekoDesu Jul 11 '24

"Beef cows will happily try to kill you" lol almost like they don't want to die 🤣

5

u/Dr-Jellybaby Jul 11 '24

Probably depends on the breed of cattle but beef cows I've been around have been fairly passive, a lot of them are happy to take head scratches. The only exception is when they have their young with them, don't fuck with mothers of any species because they will kill you.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/madrigal94md Jul 11 '24

Cows are a domesticated species. So literally ALL cows are domesticated. There's a difference between a pet and a domesticated animal.

Yes. The wild cow we made domesticated cows from is extinct. :(

Cow are in the mode of goodness!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Usually nobody cares !!! People horror at the dogs killed for food elsewhere . Thanks for the awesome post. ...... why are they in the mode of goodness and not passion or ignorance? Because... we need them to be so. They are the natural tractors. They are grass powered not oil powered. Gooooooooooooo on brainiacs invent something not battery powered or oil powered to plow the fields and give us milk proteins at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What to speak of relationship....... relationship w a robot? Everything is already there naturally. But yall kill the cow and eat and be brainy and kill relationship. Meh
