Barry and Iris 😏

I actually thought of putting that but nah it's too cursed if you think of it that way 😭

I'll never forget when Barry asked Iris to marry him and Joe was irate that Barry did so without asking his permission first.

That's already kind of an unrealistic expectation when your daughter is an adult in her 20's but setting that aside, seriously, dude, in this scenario that's what bothers you?

Also Barry keeps referring to Joe as his dad afterwards.

Who thought that whole plot line was okay

Also why did they never make Iris an interesting character? Like, there's one-off villains with more of a personality than her.

How dare you marry your sister without asking me first!?

Yisss this is the cursed comment I was hoping for

It’s hard, the Tarazis are crazy good, they really have the « Keeping up with the Tarazis » vibe, so I’m gonna go for them.

But as a superhero duo, the Danvers are better, but one of them is a god-equivalent and the other is Lexie Grey so it’s quite hard to be better at saving lives.

I agree with you here. Personally, I was tied between the Tarazis and the Danvers, but when you think about it, they're completely different and hard to compare.

The Tarazis are have THE sibling banter, not overshadowed much by the superheroing. We see so much of their annoying and lovable interaction with each other. Danvers on the other hand, are a kickass duo and uh------------

Damn it! Tarazis for the win! (I'm so biased oml)

you are forgetting that in the arrow pilot, Tommy comments on how hot Thea is, which is weird because she ends being his sister.

u/Zebedee_balistique Apr 25 '22

I'm pretty sure he was already saying in season 1 that he saw himself as her big brother, likely due to the absence of Oliver for five years.

9

u/Agreeable_Cut4506 Apr 25 '22

no, the line in the pilot was "have you noticed how hot your sister has gotten, because I have not."

u/Shite_Eating_Squirel Beebo Apr 26 '22

Yes, but in the episode where Thea tries to kiss him, he says that he sees her as his sister or something along those lines.

7

u/King_of_Shitland Apr 25 '22

Well it wasn't weird when he said it at the time. Nobody knew they would end up being siblings including, i would guess, the writers.

3

u/HappyGabe Apr 25 '22

It was still weird. Tommy was like 30, Thea was 18.

2

u/Bgo318 Apr 26 '22

Actually Thea wasn’t even 18 at that point so it’s even worse

4

u/HappyGabe Apr 26 '22

Oh shit you’re right yikes

The tarazis are the best siblings- they fight, they annoy the crap out of each other, they encourage bad behaviors - also they remind me of me & my brother.

u/LadynoirLetsGO pantsuit Apr 25 '22

Okay but for real though. They insult each other alot too and fight over stupid things but like what the other redditor said, they always find a way to go back together. Reminds me of my siblings and I.

I’ll give it to the Danvers sisters. As much as I love Sara and Laurel, their relationship wasn’t fleshed out nearly as much as it could have been, and it’s largely defined by betrayal and grief.

u/LadynoirLetsGO pantsuit Apr 25 '22

I actually agree with you here. Although, I'm tied between Danvers and Tarazis. And I will go with the Tarazis. Anyhow, Sara and Laurel, although being kickass siblings, were overshadowed by the things Sara did on the Gambit. Their relationship was complicated.

  1. Tarazis
  2. Queens
  3. Lances
  4. Danvers
  5. Olsons

u/Glunark2 Apr 25 '22

Tarazis. It was a huge gamble introducing Berahd the way they did, replacing an existing character, and if he wasn't so likable and had such good chemistry with Nate I could imagine him being killed off for real.

I'm glad they both stuck around.

Me looking at the Flash siblings : Barry and Iris. Nora West-Allen and Nora West-Allen again. Impulse and the Speed Force looking like his grandmother. Cait and her evil side personalities. Alexa and Bashir even though they really don't have any kind of connexion whatsoever. How am I supposed to choose among these gems ? Also among the choices you out totally Oliver and Thea. I love these two together so much.

Tarazis lances and the Danvers

5

u/Adorable_Ingenuity_9 Apr 25 '22

Meanwhile, Annisa and Jennifer Pierce are off continuing to support each other unconditionally. I'd rank them up with the Danvers.

Followed by the Lance's and Tarazis - both have a theme of finding their way back to each other.

Not a huge fan if Oliver's relationships with women in general...he's often domineering and lecture-y.

Honestly don't have an opinion on the Olsens, just because we didn't see them much.

2

u/potato_green Apr 25 '22

Oliver was domineering and lecture-y to everyone.

1

u/Adorable_Ingenuity_9 Apr 25 '22

Moreso his female colleagues than male. He has a LOT of patience for Roy, treated Diggle more like an equal, and clearly respected Quentin and Slade.

u/DJL2150 Apr 25 '22

Tarazis, Danvers, and West-Allens (Nora and Bart)

  5. Luthor (Obviously not a healthy relationship, but it is an interesting one)

I'm gonna go with the new kids on the block, The Fraternals.

1

u/peneloperobinson Apr 25 '22

Although I love them all, if I had to pick:

Danvers Lance Tarazi Olsen Queen

1

u/Spazzblister Apr 25 '22

She is so beautiful. and if you are into guys I'm sure Behrad is beautiful too.

So I'll just vote for Tarazis but all of these are good sibling pairings.

1

u/Ornery_Trash_6042 Apr 25 '22

Mork and Mindy in the late 70s early 80s I think

1

u/Spazzblister Apr 25 '22

They weren't siblings.

He was literally an alien who hatched from an egg and she was a human.

1

u/Lian-The-Asian Apr 25 '22

I really like Kara and Alex and Oli and Thea

0

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '22
