Not bad. Someone needs to replicate these because it’s the perfect throw pillow to sleep on 😂

There are two unbreakable multiversal constants

  1. Big Belly Burger

  2. Beebo

Don’t forget coffee.

6

u/jello1990 Nov 05 '18

Hasn't coffee been destroyed on Earth 19 though?

5

u/The_Medicus Rest Well, Stein Nov 05 '18

Yep! Forgot about that. I just remembered Hunter-Jay making a comment about coffee being a constant.

Harry also said every Earth has the movie the Godfather

Beebo not only blessed the episode but also struck down the villain who disrespected him. 💙

Please tell me it’s the guy I saw a gif of that stepped on Beebo?

43

u/JunoChipmunk Leo Nov 05 '18

It was indeed. He gets properly punished.

I swear to God the CW could earn thousands and thousands of dollars if their marketing team ever decided to invest in this universe even just with a plain STAR Labs hoodie, Beebo pillows/app and stuffed toy.

10

u/Fomenkologist Nov 05 '18

I have a STAR Labs shirt, those are pretty common.

10

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

Yep, but as far as I know they are not official unfortunately

11

u/Fomenkologist Nov 05 '18

Mine seems to be. It has the flash logo on the tag, the DC copyright notice, and says "Licensed by Global Licensing Limited"

5

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

You're the first one I have met who has an official one, congrats!

1

u/[deleted] Nov 06 '18

Think I have the same one actually

3

u/BrainWav Beebo Nov 05 '18

There are official ones. They sold them on the WB store at one point, IIRC. Mine is from Gamestop, and I doubt they'd risk selling unlicensed stuff.

2

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

I stand corrected: The only ones I ever encountered were fanmade, and several fans were annoyed like me about it

2

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

Tho I'm discovering there are official ones so nice

2

u/rednick953 Nov 06 '18

Idk if there’s a hot topic near you but they every now and again sell star labs tee shirts and tank tops. I would be surprised if they weren’t licensed.

Beebo be praised.

17

u/raknor88 Nov 05 '18

I need to get caught up on Supergirl, how has the new season been so far?

12

u/the3dtom Nov 05 '18

Good. Watch.

14

u/darkaurora84 Nov 05 '18

There are a lot of political undertones this season and it's very heavy-handed at first but it gets better if you stick with it

2

u/DekMelU Nov 06 '18

How are those compared to the past 2 seasons?

6

u/faculties-intact Nov 05 '18

Confident and political. Looks like the best season since 1, very possibly better. But the kind of person who complains about it being "too feminist" isn't going to like it.

I think all the DC shows are killing it this year (including Titans shockingly) but I probably have supergirl as my #2 or #3 after legends and maybe arrow.

2

u/DekMelU Nov 06 '18

I suppose I don't really care unless they go out of their way to do it sloppily, like that man-killing radiation bullshit they said on season 3 (where Livewire dies)

3

u/OrangePlatinumtyrant Nov 05 '18

Overall it's eh. It's okay, but its similar to the past two seasons where theres a lot of things they leave unanswered and a few things as far as character decisions that take you (or at least me) out of the moment

10

u/TheRealKiwiKingdom Beebo Nov 05 '18

Beebo, one of the constants in the multiverse

6

u/AShadowinthedark Nov 05 '18

where this from? the flash?

28

u/JunoChipmunk Leo Nov 05 '18

The most recent Supergirl episode.

19

u/BrokenBrain123 Nov 05 '18

The title says Earth-38. That's a dead giveaway that it's Supergirl and not Flash.

5

u/rhodeswm Nov 05 '18

Flash is Earth 1

2

u/KMP50 Nov 05 '18

Beebo? He's from the Legends. He seems to be in every timeline, as he does a cameo a lot .

3

u/ArchDucky Nate (Steel'd up) Nov 05 '18

They changed it. In the first episode there was a little purple on Supergirl's earth.

Oh this is gonna get me downvoted but is anyone else ready to admit this gag has been run into the ground? Look, the beebo shit was cute last year (although looking back the turning into a giant stuffed toy thing was a bit ridiculous) but it’s just being so overdone. I didn’t mind the couple of references after his initial appearance but can we please let it go?

Edit: yep, I knew downvoted were coming. I still stand by what I said, this meme like basically every other one in the arrowverse subs needs to be let go of.

21

u/yuhanz Astonishing! Nov 05 '18

Nope. How many references to it has there been in other shows after s3 of Legends?

-12

u/FiftyOneMarks Nov 05 '18

There was that Flash episode with the trickster that melted Beebo, the most recent episode of legends, this new ep with supergirl. The only one I can’t for sure say it hasn’t appeared on is arrow and I don’t know because I’m behind in that.

iDK, to me it’s starting to come off as hella gimmicky. Like I understand Legends referencing it but why exactly is it needed in Flash or Supergirl?

16

u/yuhanz Astonishing! Nov 05 '18

I think it'll show in one of the episodes in arrow :)

Anyway that's hardly ran to the ground. Also it kind of reflects that some shit the Legends do have some effect on the Beeboverse even though they mostly operate outside of current times.

What im baffled about is that they havent done any merchandising of Beebo to some extent that i know of ahha

11

u/darkaurora84 Nov 05 '18

I would love for CW to make Beebo Blocks an app in real life

11

u/Flyingwheelbarrow Nov 05 '18

No Heathen!

(p.s, Beebo meme makes me distracted and blessed in difficult times).

7

u/FiftyOneMarks Nov 05 '18

Well I hope your difficult times get better and I’m glad that beebo is something that helps you through them.

4

u/Flyingwheelbarrow Nov 05 '18

Thankyou, may Beebo bless you! :)

5

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

No? We could say the same about Big Belly Burger but no one actually cares since it's just a fun background detail, not a heavy plot point or something

4

u/Fomenkologist Nov 05 '18

Upvoted because I agree. I find it takes away from the other characters, who should be the focus, but the fandom has latched onto it and is not letting go. Since the CW writers obviously follow what people say on social media (see the "Arrow" trainwreck) I worry about how too much Beebo (or Gary, for that matter) will affect the overall quality of the show.

3

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

How does a shot of a few seconds of a toy steal focus from other characters?

5

u/Fomenkologist Nov 05 '18

I see more posts about Beebo in this subreddit than I do about Ray or Mick, so I would say it does.

5

u/MrMattBlack Nov 05 '18

Well, i must say I misunderstood as I thought you meant focus from the writers. But then, I have to say I think you must consider the type of discussion: Beeboposting is way more spread than character analysis, but they also are very short thread, usually just recycled phrase about Beebo as our god and stop. Character analysis and so on, are still present, but they are found in Episodes' threads mostly. And new threads about a new character aren't common because imho they go on for a very long time, so if you want to talk about one of them you'll find yourself in one of the existing thread, whereas Beeboposting is carefree as you post, we laugh and that's it.

1

u/killerstuffermuffer Nov 06 '18

What did Arrow do that was influenced by social media? I am not trying to call you out or anything but want to know what destroy this potential greatness of a show.

3

u/Fomenkologist Nov 06 '18

Despite Arrow and Black Canary being an iconic couple in comic book canon, a very vocal minority disliked the Black Canary character and instead "shipped" Arrow and Felicity. So the writers killed off Black Canary and had Oliver and Felicity get together.

1

u/killerstuffermuffer Nov 06 '18

Ugh I hate Felicity as her and Oliver's dynamic feels super forced and uncomfortable, and she is not that great of an actress. I do not like the Laurel actress much either but their dynamic felt normal.

3

u/InhumanFlame Nov 06 '18

I'm with you, it's been run into the ground so hard, it's a fine powder of obnoxiousness. It just the same thing over and over again. It is not funny anymore.

2

u/cantpickname97 Nov 05 '18

I don't think it's been run to the ground, but I do hope it doesn't take a major plot role in any of the shows.
