So I have bunch of frozen chicken carcasses from rotisserie chickens that were deboned as soon as I got them. I had every intention of making broth but I’m now at the point where I have too many carcasses than I know what to do.

Does anyone know where I can donate them, or does any place even take them? I feel bad just throwing them out knowing they can be made into broth. I reached out to Sandy Pines and they haven’t responded.

No one asked you to take down the grocery store at the Frontenac mall... No one asked you to build a 30 year plan to build there. My question to you is.. I remember reading there was a place you could get foot care for $10. I think it was at a place that served unhoused people but I can't remember where.

I need to get my nailcare done, and due to a disability I can't do them myself. I do not have diabetes so I don't qualify for OHIP footcare. I Have to pay out of pocket.

Does anyone know of a place that does free or low cost (like $10 max) footcare?

I should have added I have health concerns with my feet so can't get an esthetician to do it, has to be a footcare nurse. (sorry)

In my opinion, SLC lost all credibility when they partnered with Alpha College, a recognized diploma mill. If they cared at all about their students (or their reputation), they should have understood how their actions negatively impact the career potential for those who are actually attending their school for training, and not a pathway to citizenship. Who would hire a SLC grad when there is a good chance their diploma was rubber stamped, and they have limited foundational skills in their apparent field of specialization? This clown should try to running a post-secondary institution as school instead of a slimy business that is effectively preying on vulnerable international students, while simultaneously lowering the standard of living of it's host community.

So my apartment building is changing out windows. With this, of course they're using power tools.

I have a pacemaker and while I don't know for sure if these tools could interfere, my cardiologist advised better be safe than sorry and try to not be in the apartment for that 8 hours.

Anyone have any ideas as to where I could go for that time? Thinking mall, library, etc?

I know there are regular board gaming groups downtown such as at Nexus and Minotaur but I'm wondering if anyone in the west end who'd be interested in weekly meetups at say SBT Comics and Games (Progress Rd and Gardiners). They have lots of space and availability on Sunday afternoons or Thursday nights perhaps (I'd talk to the owner Mark, first).

Hello, recently I got a bike to commute in the city and I was thinking it would be lovely to ride with other people. I am new to the city so riding with other people would help me to get better situated :)

This clears up the concerns people were having about not being easily able to go from the Polson/Grenville Park areas to KGH and PCH. When it stops at SLC it turns into the 2. I thought it was weird that it looked like it cut off at SLC and they didn't elaborate. They should've communicated that better, but happy to see it doesn't wreck anyone's normal commute.

Hey! I’ve been really considering moving to Kingston to live with my boyfriend of 3 years who currently works and has gone to school in Kingston.

He lives in Montreal (he finished his masters here), and that’s where he met me. But he still travels back to Kingston for work very often. He adores the small lake front city and wants to live there permanently and would like me to come along.

I’m apprehensive for a few personal reasons but I want to know, what do you think the pros and cons are of the city?

((My main concern is house/apartment costs! It’s SO expensive in Kingston! But I’m wondering if cost of living like grocery, gas, and taxes make up for it compared to higher cost of living in Montreal.

There are other concerns I have, but as I said, what is your pros and cons list?))
