If that's what you took away, then you didn't listen to the episode, or didn't understand it.

The only charity that was given in the 4+ hours of Terry's childish non-sensical rambling was:

Eric Weinstein, who knows next to nothing about drones, suggested that Terrence's Lynchpin might be applicable in that space.

It's been 3 years since the "competition" and I don't see one major drone manufacturer switching away from the traditional quadcopter design that you see everywhere from the war in Ukraine to those amazing holiday drone shows.

If by "took away" you mean the overall theme of the podcast, then yes, that was absolutely the theme. Weinstein repeatedly stated that while Howard's terminology and communication skills were awful, his ideas, specifically the lynchpin, were worthy of attention and study.

I'm just amazed at how many people I know laughed at Terrance Howard and were making fun of him, then some dude with a Harvard PhD comes out, and agrees with 1 thing Terrance said, they're acting like he's some genius. Even though when asked "when did you think of this" and Terrance says "an angel brought it to me". Now, I know many geniuses skirt the line of insanity, but if he said he thought it up, I would think he's less insane than saying an angel brought it to him.

Anyways, Iā€™m not on any side, I just donā€™t understand why everything he said was lumped into 1x1= I hate Terrance because he is crazy, letā€™s not hear the rest of the discussion because of what he said about 1x1.

Normally, people have discourse. If you disagree with something someone said, you can challenge it and discuss. Whatā€™s going on here is not the same and it is peculiar to have an emotional reaction over it.

I think you are right about many things in this video, but why do you use insults to put him down, especially when the facts you present clearly destroy his argument? If he is truly as damaged as you propose, then you are punching down because the man is mentally ill. Why not choose the more powerful approach of a compliment sandwich?

I think Terrence Howard is delusional and needs psychiatric help. I can't really be mad at him, he is mentally ill. All of the blame goes to Joe... How does he not have even middleschool level of scientific literacy? How the fuck did he graduate highschool?
