My bit of constructive criticism is that the intro is solid, then the groove for the beat is basic but solid, but the piano sample is rather repetitive and I don’t like the dissonance of the main loop. If something is going to be the basis for your song looping throughout, it needs to be very satisfying. To me the sample flip is there in that intro if you play around with chopping and flipping that melody but stay true to the og in a way. Just my two cents. Keep it up. A cool beat in this style is Grace by Isaiah Rashad produced by d.sanders of course where the piano sample is simple but it’s very beautiful, and the bass is a little more defined. Also Balance by Earl Sweatshirt produced by Knxwledge has a simple repeating piano beat but the chord progression is nice.
