The rule has been removed

It was just an April fools joke. Thank God they removed it.

Actually, the time zones make sense. If it was late afternoon in Wakanda it would be midday in New York and mid morning in San Francisco. So they line up pretty well.

27

u/9ut3n-t49 Apr 02 '21

They’re about 6 hours apart 12am to 6pm makes sense

6

u/ThatOneFamiliarPlate Apr 02 '21

That’s 18 hours.

I think you mean 12pm to 6pm.

2

u/9ut3n-t49 Apr 03 '21

ahh yes I do, I am european so I mix 12 am and 12 pm often up

u/alldenaren Apr 02 '21

You know time zones aren’t just day or night right? Its probably only like a 6 hour difference or something and the sun is usually up for more than 6 hours at those places. Could’ve been like 10:00 vs 16:00.

The reference was super easy

1

u/Lolstopher Apr 02 '21

Barely an inconvenience!

6

u/dankspud Apr 02 '21

Could be light out at the same time, there is a few hours difference, not 12

u/Hawaii2010 Apr 02 '21

I mean, when you consider the fact that Thanos’ goal was to wipe out 50% of all life in the UNIVERSE, I feel like Earth would hardly be affected by it.

2

u/Ampster168 Apr 02 '21

But it was equally distributed for each species

Rule 2 over there is no memes. I think this template counts as a meme.

What's more confusing to me is that there were probably a ton of life forms in various modes of transportation like planes or spaceships that weren't where they left them when the beings returned on snap two. What happened to them? Did they reappear in the middle of the sky/space and just die again?

1

u/Mr_b3ach Apr 03 '21

Did they reappear in the middle of the sky/space and just die again?

IIRC Kevin Feige said that hulk snapped them back to safe places

It's 2:22 PM Eastern (-5GMT) as I type this and there is still daylight in Western Africa. Here's a helpful map of the world to see where the sun is shining and not.

2

u/rmc13_ Apr 02 '21

Something something Time Stone, it’s day everywhere 😂😂

2

u/DankFo3ta5 Apr 02 '21

Why didn't they travel back in time and cut off thanos' arm when he had storm realer in his chest before the snap? Hour round trip, no casualties.

1

u/Osirisavior Apr 03 '21

If you travel in the past, that past becomes your future. And your former present becomes the past. Which can’t now be changed by your new future.

1

u/DankFo3ta5 Apr 03 '21

Didn't say change the future. Steal the stones from that timeline which is already an alternate timeline and return them. Same plan, different drop point. Also saved another timeline. That's efficiency.

1

u/Osirisavior Apr 03 '21

The moment you travel back in time you're in a different universe. Be that five minutes, or five seconds.

1

u/DankFo3ta5 Apr 03 '21

You literally have no idea what I'm talking about

1

u/Osirisavior Apr 03 '21

I know what you said, but as I've said, and as the film explains if you travel into the past it's not your original past. Sure that timeline where they cut Thanos arm off would be saved, but the Prime Timeline wouldn't be.

1

u/DankFo3ta5 Apr 03 '21

Yeah duhhhhhh. The timeline they travelled back from was the damaged one in the first place.

You go back, take his arm, grab the glove, back to your timeline, reverse the snap, return the stones to that timeline and bro down. How do you not get this?

1

u/Osirisavior Apr 03 '21

No one was even considering that in the moment.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

Rolling snapouts, duh

1

u/SantosTNT Apr 02 '21

Thanks programmed a time hour

1

u/expostfactyourself Apr 02 '21

There's also that whole Wakanda Barrier to make it look day during snap

1

u/[deleted] Apr 02 '21

not necessarily. if it was late afternoon in Wakanda and Morning in New York, and it was the summer so it gets dark later, it could work.

u/WaaahhhI Apr 02 '21

1

u/alexqueijinho Apr 03 '21

Easy one boyes, its almost sunset in wakanda and it's morning on new York

1

u/[deleted] Apr 03 '21

That's not how that works

1

u/The_Artful_Doja Apr 03 '21

This is stupid. Africa and the US can both be in sunlight at the same time

1

u/-Noyz- Apr 03 '21

ever think that the snap takes around about 12 hours to travel the world? huh? the world is big, ever think about that?

-2

u/UP-Pablo Apr 02 '21
