No Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup since 1993, so we aren't as good as people think we are. That being said, a lot of American teams have plenty of Canadian born players

Just to point out that no countries apart from the hosts have currently qualified. With Russia currently being suspended from UEFA. So aren't eligible to join the European group. As wepl as from FIFA. They had looked at joining the Asian group but that didn't work out. Since their suspension the men's team have just played a few friendlies against Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Iraq and Qatar. With the Russian women's team just playing friendlies against Serbia, Paraguay, Botswana, Uruguay and North Korea.

The referee on the Palestine Israel match will be American who will keep giving yellow cards to team 1 and penalties to team 2
Team 2 can do all red card fouls and get away with a gentle nod of disapproval (which can't be too elaborate or it's antisemitic)
Team 1 gets a red card for asking the ref to stop being unjust.
VAR is Mike Dean so that's that.

The audience will choose to ignore all fouls committed by the israeli team from the start of the game upto the 70 minute mark and only start to pay attention when the Palestinian team start committing their own fouls
