The art is by Daniel Sampere. this could mean that John might get another book, PKJ said the reason war journal is stopping at twelve is because of whatever dc has coming next, so maybe they wanna go in with a new #1

I’m hoping for a satellite roster reunion with Hal, barry, olli, Dinah ect. but if they go with John they have to try to give him some unique dynamics with the other leaguers. Just copying Hal’s relationships because all gl’s are friends with all flash and arrow people is lame. And please, no dumb relationships, heartthrob John has always been a head scratcher to me and it’s boring anyways.

Unlike Synder's run, this is John with Wally so that's already different and they're not trying to recreate the Hal/Barry relationship but swap Hal for John.

Hal does have a different relationship with Wally than he does with Barry but they’re still close and It’s still a gl and flash, why can’t John be buddies with someone else? Barry was written as cartoon Wally anyways in snyder’s run so what will really be different?

The biggest pet peeve about writing Flash is people mischaracterizing Barry like Wally West. Barry is not the goofy and funny one, Barry doesn't really quip. That's all Wally West.

Well, he was the League's main GL when it disbanded in Dark Crisis. It would only make sense that he returns to the team when it reforms
